JOB TESTIMONY
Hello SDK and SDKbvs
I want to testify to the goodness of God through SDK blog. My younger brother got a good job on this blog after many years of living from hand to mouth.

Let me tell you his story so you would know how to praise God with me.

After his secondary school, he tried for admission severally without success so he told me he wants to learn a trade, this was almost 10yrs ago. I supported him financially till he did freedom, I also bought tools for him to start up. He struggled for 1 or 2yrs without success, later told me he tried for school admission once again and he was successful, I practically saw him through school hoping he will get a good job with his certificate, he came out with an upper class.

He struggled and struggled for years without any tangible job and this guy is very good, so intelligent. I starved myself of some basic things, gave him some money to add to to what he has and rent a shop and start practising his trade fully, nothing! Meanwhile, I had already intrduced him to the blog in 2015, he got adverts favour in those days of IHN free adverts, my dearest bvs, nothing!

People would call him for jobs, they would meet and agree to start on a fixed date and then they would go mute. He applied for several jobs both here and on newspapers, etc, nothing! This guy used to call me in the evenings and lament on how he had not eaten any food except drinking garri in his shop since morning. Did I mention that all these years I sent him little pocket money most months and there was no week that I didn't send recharge to him, he begs me for recharge cards and I send N100 worth to him most times(he lives in another state).

We were worried and sad about his condition, He is the first son, our dad is gone, hypertensive mum is struggling to feed. he was still squatting with someone, haggard looking and dead broke. I was very sad as my humble self is still struggling to stand too, my life is also complicated. I prayed and fasted for him and myself, urged mum to do same all these years. Nothing!

A vacancy was posted here two months ago and it was in his State, I begged him to apply as usual as he was already fed up, he did and to God be the glory, he got the job, a supervisor job with accomodation and good pay.

Just yesterday, he sent me recharge card of N1000. He also sent a token to mum's account. I am very happy as I type this, my brother who used to beg me for N100 recharge card? I'm sure mum's Bp would have started reducing by now. She loves him so much. Stella and bvs, God is alive. Praise his holy name. I'm grateful to you Stella for this blog, may God keep showering his blessings on you. Sorry for the long Epistle, would have sent in Shoki but I'm 'rich' now, I will persuade him to do so soon.

SICKLE CELL ANAEMIA
Hello Stella, I hope this mail finds you in good health.

Honestly, I don't know where this would fit in.

I just lost a childhood friend and neighbor yesterday.

He wedded on the 6th on This month.

We lost him to sickle cell/Anaemia.

Please, I just want to make a passionate appeal to everyone out there who hasn't checked or confirmed their genotype... Pleaseeeee do so.

Don't wait till its time for your wedding or when your relationship gets serious before you do so.

By this, we would be winning the cause of saving future generations yet unborn the agony that comes with sickle cell/Anaemia.

As much as I am aware of the possiblity(ies) of still producing carrier free children, IT IS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY.

And to you, Yes YOU planning to still go ahead with that marriage even after finding out your genotype isn't compatible, You don't want to know the result of your action(s) in the nearest future. It's not going to be easy, but your future self would thank you.

Our parents may have married out of love and ignorance, not having any idea about knowing their genotype before marriage, not realizing what their actions/ inactions would result to... But now, we know should better.

For the sake of our children, and our children's children, let's not feign ignorance.

No, it's not love! Don't let the devil use you.
While we continue to hope for there to be a permanent cure to this ailment and pray for those living with this ailment, let's desist from strengthening the chain.

SCAMMED BY KEN FROM SINGLES MINGLE

Dear Stella
Thanks for the good job you are doing may the good Lord continue to bless you.

I met Ken Nsofor (that is the name he gave to me don't know if it's real) in the October SnM he stays in Lagos while I stay in Asaba. We began talking he sounded great and I liked him thinking he was real.

We met ones in Lagos January when I went to see my sister he looked responsible and well mannered though he was insisting I follow him to his place which I declined cause I was scared with the stories I hear about online dates raping ladies.

Earlier this month he called with a foreign line that he travelled for business and will come back in two weeks time, he calls me everyday with the line and we do talk at length. Then on the 7th of May he asked me to help him out with 100k that the workers in his supposed building are stranded and he will give it back to me when he comes back. I foolishly did thinking I was dealing with someone real. When he got the money he blocked me on bbm and I can't even reach him on his numbers.

I know I was stupid to do what I did but I want to ensure he doesn't scam anyone anymore. I have reported his line to MTN as a scam person, will also send the account number he provided to EFCC.

LAUTECH STRIKE BROUHAHA

Good day Stella.

Well Lautech has been put under locks and keys again.

The government has refused to pay the lecturers and the students had a protest in solidarity.

The issue now is that jambites that were scheduled to write their exams yesterday at the school were prevented from entering as the gate was locked. No word from Jamb representative, the innocent jambites were left stranded by the school gate unattended to.

Some of them had to find their ways in the afternoon when it became obvious nothing would be done yesterday. Why would jamb authority use Lautech as a CBT centre when we all know the school is not stable?
