EMBRYOLOGIST INFO NEEDED
Good day Stella, I'm a final year student studying Biochemistry and I would love to work as an Embryologist after graduation. I've searched everywhere online but I can't find any concise information regarding Certification and how to go about it here in Nigeria.

DARKENED SKIN
Good day Stella,
Please this may not have to do with man issues but it is the main issue I'm having. I am naturally fair in complexion. However, I noticed that since I moved back to the Nigeria a year ago, my skin have darkened.
I was just using Palmers cocoa butter then, but my aunt advised me to stop using it. Her reason was that it's for dark skinned people.
Although my chest and thighs are still light, other areas especially my feet and elbows are now very dark. Someone recommended bismid for me, so I used it with Kojic acid soap at night and the other parts of my body caught up with my lighter areas but my feet and Elbow became darker, I decided to stop using it.
I came across good reviews online of qei privilege, so I bought it with the serum and the tube cream from prince's trust(cos I heard they sell genuine products there). The issue is that after a few weeks of using them, I noticed my skin became darker, I then had to stop using them.
Now I just rely on E45 cream and a sunblock but I'm still worried about my dark elbow and feet. Please can anyone kindly recommend a certified dermatologist or a good cream for me to use? Any comments, suggestions or advice are welcome as well.

END TIME PROPHETESS
Let me share one of my experiences with an end time Prophetess.
My mum used to have this prophetess as friend and spiritual advisor. I and my siblings never liked this Madam Prophetess and we did not hide it but we were too young to avoid her, mum would always take us along to her house every Sunday after church and during Easter celebrations.
One cold December morning when I was about 12 or 13, I woke up and could not move, I had severe pains in my ribs and all of my chest region. Mum gave me Paracetamol, fired some brimstone and thunder prayers and then took me to 'Doctor' Prophetess.
She started singing spiritual songs, prayers and then went into a trance. She then told mum that Angel Micheal had used his sword to pierce my chest because I was too stubborn and asked mum to go buy some items, these items were to be used to offer prayers of appeal to Angel Micheal and also for cleansing in order for me to be healed. Lol. I was still in serious pains all these while.
When dad came back in the evening and heard everything, the man just carried me to the hospital. It was there and then that I first heard the word "pneumonia". I had pneumonia which could have killed me in two days if nothing was done.
It didn't end there. Mum kept seeing this woman who tried to discourage her from allowing me to sit for JAMB, the reason she gave was that she saw my star and I was supposed to learn a trade, not education. By now, I was older and wise too, I managed to gain admission in another city and avoided home as much as I could till I was done and then I moved to another city from there.
Now, I see all these people from a particular popular church going round the neighbourhood with bells shouting and saying 'prophecies'. Some people would come out, kneel in front of them and listen to all they were 'sent' to say, pen and book in hand, writing down the items and Bible verses to be used for prayers. I would just sit at a corner and watch them with my face like this my puppy..
I pray God opens the eyes of these people before end time Prophets use their end time prophecies to ruin their lives and families.

FIRST TIME IN THE ABROAD
IYA IBEJI SERIES
Let's leave dem babies for a minute and talk about something else. Something like my first time overseas. Just so it won't be a very long read there are many parts of the story I'm not going to talk about.
Like wetin immigration officers use my eyes see for MMA as per being a first time traveller or the long hours on the plane. Prior to that I've never flew more than 45 mins so over 6 hrs on air come dey do me somehow I nearly tell pilot say make he stop I no go again.
I'm also not going to talk about the very beautiful airport in the abroad and how nice I was treated by their immigration and other officers. I was kind of expecting otherwise, being a Nigerian and all those stories I don dey read about how them dey treat us. But no I wont go into all that.
So let me start from when I entered a taxi to my hotel. I looked out the window beautiful view as expected. I wasn't the typical JJC I dey watch foreign movies so I don see all these for their films before. But just one thing bothered me, my taxi fare. I begin dey do calculation, wawu this na like my 5 months T fare for Naija. Got to my hotel call them for Naija say I don reach. Browse through the TV nothing interesting, went to the balcony saw something strange I swallow spit and entered my room.
Next morning breakfast was free at the hotel and better hunger don dey wire me. It was a buffet na so I begin dey check out the food. I didn't know many things on the menu so the ones I knew I took excess like chicken, fish and something wey resemble macaroni. I got a seat and my plate was the fullest on the table. I also noticed I was the only black person in the restaurant. Shame been wan catch me but when I remember the taxi fare plus say lunch and dinner no be free I bone chop my food.
Went back to my room went to the balcony saw that same thing again I swallowed spit and entered my room. Went to the reception to ask for directions to the pool was told it's on the 13th floor. Correct! I truly dey abroad.
Went about the reason for my visit, came back to my hotel room went to the balcony I truly wanted to sit there and enjoy the view but I saw that same thing again. What you might ask? There was a man out there totally naked like no pant nothing, sun bathing. And this time our eyes met, he looked kinda creepy I hurriedly went inside. As I closed the glass door I noticed no burglar proof in the abroad. Ghen ghen..........

ReplyDeleteI had same struggles for some time and I stuck to buying my QEI from London. Either old Kent road or Finsbury Park. But the exchange rate plus either looking for who to bring it or using Lond to gidi de injure my pocket for this economy. If the money ain't a thing for you, buy from either of those shops as they sell original and others sell china ( including 99% of the shops in Nig ) otherwise how can you explain something that's £40 sold here for 8k.
Don't get me twisted, am an introvert, so when i get back from work i just chill at home, nobody made any body an option
