Lady Steals Dollars Belonging To Her Would Be In Laws A Month Before Her Wedding

The forthcoming marriage between two lovers, Chima Madueke and his fiancée, Chioma Christopher has been stalled after Chioma was docked and sent to prison for allegedly stealing some dollars kept inside Chima’s elder sister house.

The incident happened at Ben Bright Street in Ago Okota, Lagos where Chima’s elder sister, Rachel reside with her husband, Living stone.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the incident happened barely one month after the couple and their family had concluded plans for the traditional marriage and church wedding back home in Anambra State.

It was alleged that Chima sent Chioma to his elder sister, Rachel from Onitsha in Anambra to Lagos to conclude plans for their wedding as agreed by both family.

When Chioma got to Rachel’s house, she was given free access to enter into their rooms including their bedroom.

Rachel was said to have sent Chioma to their bedroom fridge for her to bring out the meat which they will use to cook. When she got there, she was said to have stolen one thousand six hundred dollars ($1,600) that Rachel’s husband had kept inside the fridge and went away.

However, the theft was exposed when she went to change the money at a local bureau de change in the street. She was shortchanged and given fake dollars which resulted in altercation between her and the operator of the local bureau de change.

According to pm express,When Rachel’s husband later returned from work and looked for the money, he did not find it. He asked around and Chioma then confessed taking it, claiming that she did not know what came over her to steal the money.

She was handed over to the police at Ago Division and she was charged before Isolo Magistrates court for stealing.
She pleaded not guilty.

    2. Meat in bedroom fridge? Money in the fridge? They actually have issues with trust. Such an awkward family!!!
She went to change dollars to another dollars? How come she could tell they were fake there and then? Too many loopholes. Hope it's not that the sister in law hates this girl and they framed her up to get rid of her. And the mumu agreed thinking it will make their brother marry her.

    3. How was it that she was given "fake dollars" instead of Naira?
Thought she went to change it?

    4. No loopholes.

      Street side abokis do it.
They change the money and then give less naira than was agreed. When the customer counts and raises objection, they feign anger and say they are not interested in the exchange anymore, and would 'return' your dollars.
That's the point at which they give fake dollar bills instead of the money the customer brought.

    5. Anon 13:16..Defender of d universe. U haven't seen a female thief abi? U are now trying to turn things around and blame d family that allowed her into their home.. U are a dumbfuck if all u saw in d story are loopholes. D sister didn't like her but she allowed her into her home? Was she d one that forced her to take d money to bureau DE change? Even if d money was fake, they used it to test her and she fell into their trap.. who needs a thief as a wife these days..
And no, d dollar wasn't shortchanged,i strongly believe d in-law kept a fake dollar inside his fridge just to test her maybe bcos they have heard stories about how she steal from people. .

@Anon 13:34.. I guess they went to check d money and found out it was fake and they gave it back to her but she refused and accused them of changing her original dollar to fake one.. Yes they do change people 's money if u are not sharp..If u blink they will interchange it to their fake dollar and tell u d one u came with is fake. Maybe daz what they did to her.

    8. Anonymous 12:32 and 13:09, for sometime I have noticed that the finger pointing had reduced on social media and I thought perhaps people have realized that being bad isn't a tribe thing. You both should be ashamed of yourselves. I wonder what you teach your children or would teach your unborn children.

  15. Now aside from the fact that the girl's village people followed her to lagos and finally got her, she was actually planning to marry into a weird family. Who keeps raw frozen food in the bedroom fridge or money for that matter. Quite a strange group.
