Actor Yul Edochie And His Deputy, Engr Emeka Okonkwo Joins Others To Decamp To APGA

Notable Elected PDP officers dumped their party, and declared membership for APGA as Governor Willie Obiano celebrated 21/21 Victory Rally and the APGA Campaign Flag-Off for the January 13th Senatorial Rerun Election in Anambra Central.

Some of the notable persons who decamped to APGA with thousands of their supporters were the Federal House of Representatives Member Representing Awka North and Awka South, Hon Anayo Nnebe (Ichele Awka), Former Democratic People's Congress (DPC) Governorship candidate for the November 18th governorship election in Anambra State, Yul Edochie and his Deputy, Engr Emeka Okonkwo, former PDP member of Anambra State House of Assembly, Chief Humphrey Nsofor, PDP Stakeholder, Chief Chukwuemeka Chiekwu (Ugonabo na Umuoji) Et Cetera.

The decampees gave their reasons as a necessity especially for the interest of ndị Igbo. They commended the APGA party leadership for the sustained peace and progress in the party pointing out that that has proven the party a true progressive and favorable platform for an equitable political inclusion of ndị Igbo in the politics of Nigeria.

The event was massively attended by well-meaning Anambrarians, APGA faithfuls from the five Eastern states, traditional and religious leaders from Anambra State, APGA members of national and state assemblies, national and state working committee members of the APGA party, top government functionaries etc. The rally is however unprecedented of all the zonal rallies in the history of Anambra State.

The people demonstrated 'indiscourageable' readiness to unanimously vote for Chief Sir Victor Umeh at the January 13th 2018 rerun election in a manner that will result to a 7/7 Landslide Victory.

  4. This was the plan all along. It's a norm. Join an opposition party, run knowing fully well you won't win. At least you have made your mark and your name has been registered. Then decamp to the ruling party of the state. 1st of he will be settled financially. I foresee yul becoming the deputy Governor in the nearest future. Cos we all know the next governor's is already in line. Ha na kpa ya kpa.
