Goalkeeper Enyeama Reportedly Says He Should Be Counted Out of World Cup

Former football player cum Pastor Peterside Idah has claimed that Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama told him in a conversation that he is tired of playing for Nigeria and will not be returning to the team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

There has been a clamour for the Lille of France keeper to return to the team after he quit acrimoniously. Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr is open to welcoming Enyeama back into the team as it was obvious the Eagles have a goalkeeping problem. I was one of those who spoke to Enyeama when there was an attempt to get him back to the national team and he told me he’s tired of playing for Nigeria.

So, there should be no Enyeama (going to the World Cup). The players should have the love to play for Nigeria and not the love to play at the World Cup and make history.

  1. The controversy of his coming and going is too much abeg. Bros go if you want to go.

  2. I thought they had forgotten about him. Because he had told them a thousand times he is no longer part of the super eagles squad

  3. Hmmmm, what could be his reason?

    God Bless Everyone.

You posted this more than once.

Better that way cos he seems like a lightening rod of controversy.
Besides that his coming back into the team will disrupt some things especially the captainship issue which looks settled.

  5. All this old men should retire..Train the young ones...Let him go we are tired. When you give people opportunity they start misbehaving

  6. He should go abeg and give the younger guys a chance.Ezenwa is good enough to be No1 during the world cup.
