Evangelist Eucharia Anunobi Is Battling Loneliness After Son’s Death

Nollywood actress Evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, is yet to get over the death of her only child, Joshua Ekwu, who lost the battle to sickle cell last year.

The actress cum evangelist who recently resumed acting lamented on the set of a new movie early this week while chatting with Inside Nollywood.

She said; “My home is so silent now without my son. Every time I peep into his room to see if he is there. When I drive back home, I long to see his smiling face radiating that joy of seeing me back. Cooking has lost its joy because he is not there to ask all those questions. My son, my baby, the most considerate child, adorable giant, I miss him''.

*Awwwwww,oh God please give this woman strength to go thru this period.Amen.!

    1. I lost my niece who is an only child at 34 during childbirth three years ago. I don't know how my sister cope cos I break down every moment I think of her. I don't even know how to get over her. I can't imagine what mothers with an only child feel lossing such children to death. Parents shouldn't bury their children at all.

    3. Well, apparently, she wouldn't have gone as far as to sue a man she can't identify. However, I have wondered if there ever was a real marriage. I've never seen him featured in any picture of her, even when the going was good, wedding, nada.

  12. I know exactly the pain she's going through. I lost my dad in the first week of January, and life hasn't been the same for me. My heart is very heavy and heartbroken. The pain is more than too much for me. Sometimes, I feel like I should just end it al and go and be with my dad, and then I remember my mum. To think I will never have conversation with my dad again, no more calls to know how I'm doing. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone, it's too much. Tears have become my companion. I don't think time will ever heal this one for me. My dad was a very nice and humble man, he didn't deserve to die. I just can't! Eucharia darling, God will give you the grace to be strong.

    2. The pains of death never go away. You only get used to dealing with it as the days passes. I pray God grant you the grace to overcome. Don't get suicidal as that may cause more pains. All humans have their time.

  15. She needs to change her environment for sometime. I don't know if she believes in remarriage after divorce, if she does, let her consider one of those her numerous admirers. She needs to have another child/children. Having other kids will console her, though it wont make her forget the precious child she lost. May God comfort her
