My neighbor's son of 4 was crying seeing that his mom was about going out leaving him to stay alone while the nanny who had gone out to pick up something at a shop down the road will soon be back to stay with him.
ReplyDeleteThe mom told him not to cry that she won't be gone for too long and the little one said okay. As the mom turned to leave, the boy said to her ''I love you mom.'' The mom replied, ''I love you more.'' He then waved his hand and bid her bye.
Where I was seated watching them, I was like kind of awww... This is so huge and lovely to behold. The little boy now ran to me and said, ''Uncle, will you be going out?'' I said no. He said to me, '' Please stay with me my mommy has gone out.'' I said it's okay. He went further asking for my phone to play games which I gave to him.
I love how he told his mom he loves her. So emotional to me and I think children should be taught on how to use endearing words on their parents. I love it.
Back then in school, my guy who's in his late 20's after receiving a call from the mom, will end it by saying, ''I love you mom'' and I will hear the mom's response ''I love you son.'' Sometimes the mom will say first and then he will respond.
Unlike some of us who didn't grow up in a posh area. Who want teach us those kind things naaaa? We no even dey call mom or Dad sef😂😂😂 Na Mpa or Mma we dey call eeh. Anytime we want form ajebo before our friends come call them mom or Dad, the thing sef dey sound somehow for our mouth and strange to them. ReplyDeleteI wantnto thank you Lord for your healing so far, I ask that you complete that which you have started. Since Thursday evening that I cam.back from work, I have been running temperature, coughing with two nose blocked. Yesterday I got antimalarial plus cough mixture and fired it back.
The headache comes once I cough, I feel better this morning to be able to do some house chores. Will complete the rest when I rest for a while, this holiday is for treating myself and nothing more. Not cooking anything this weekend.

DeleteI saw the other day someone advised that a bv should soak her tigernut for three days and use her blender to blend it instead of using her pounded yam machine. I bought tigernut dry one on Thursday and soak it, can I go ahead to blend it today with my haier thermocool blender? I used it to blend beans for moi moi and it blended well, but wouldn't it be stressful for the blender abi I should carry myself to grind it outside 🤔

DeleteIt's the wattage of the blender that matters and not the blender itself. Mine is 750 watts and I make tiger nut juice with it although I use the fresh tiger nuts and I soak over night.

DeleteMy mum will be staying with me fir maximum two weeks cos my elder sister is travelling to see her mother in law with her daughter this Easter. I requested instead of my mum to be taken to the village to come stay at my place for thr few days she will be away.

She is old and I also want meal I should offer to her to help her control her BP plus make her sleep well. I would have taken leave but is not possible cos the person that will stand in for me is on leave due to an arrangement we made before now. I took some days off for my exams and I just resumed on Friday, the person is attending an event which the leave started after the Easter break.
My mum is of age and not exposed to most things. I don't want her to think too much or say my place is boring plus I want her to eat good meal that will be good for her body.

The Lord is your strength. But to intentional wake up looking for a man to get you pregnant so that you become a single mother or baby mama because of societal pressure on your age or the feeling of boss lady due to academic or financial status so you are too big to be referred to as Mrs. God is not an author of confusion. There is a reason he made them male and female. Bible went on to say Woe to anyone who is alone Ecc. 4:9-10. It's not easy emotionally and culturally being raised by a single mum in Nigeria. Money does not solve all problems. They will grow and ask questions. Everyone needs love. All of us need companion. It's not good for Adam to be alone. If you intentional become a single mother pls don't add sidechic to it. Don't cause pain to another woman who choose to marry.

Dante you have spoken/written so well up there @08:32. I think there's something people need to understand in life. When you're dealing with someone you're benefiting from, know what that person abhors and don't like. It'll help a whole lot to curtail some nonsense and attitudinal problems you may have.
ReplyDeleteStella, is a blunt person and she doesn't condone some things which she wont fail to let you know. Some people will call it difficult but to me, I see it as being principled and bluntness all together.
I know how I do go inside Stella's mailbox whenever my comment is flagged to ask why. One day she changed it for me and after a while, she explained things to me politely and I saw reasons with her.
I know the help I have gotten from Stella unannounced on the blog. Abeg no be everything person dey talk eeh. Sometimes I feel the urge to appreciate on the blog and she will say forget it. That's her person.
We both may have had our differences on issues here, but then I will say understanding matters when you know and appreciate people's effort towards you very well.
