    2. She helps him to pack his clothes, when it rains, buys meats and send her maid to clean his flat. She was benefitting from him, plus her kids. As a young girl, this familiarity cannot work and I stopped it.

  4. Not so much shege sha, but our landlady then wanted us to swap flats with her (their flat upstairs is smaller than ours), I wonder why they didn't rent out theirs from the onset and stay downstairs if they knew they wanted a bigger space.

When she saw we were not willing to budge, she started spinning stories of wanting her mum to come stay and she won't be able to climb the stairs blablabla, this is someone who does not have a good rapport with her mum according to what one of her siblings told us.
We knew she was lying and just wanted to increase the rent by like 400k over what we were paying and then rent it out to new tenants.
We told her we would rather move out than move upstairs, and so we did that in 2021, case closed.

She used to make sales like crazy
Within few months, land lady increase the rent by More than 200% or she refund the rent
Later, she said infact she is not renting the shop again
My mum moved out in the morning, Mama landlady started selling same thing in the same shop that same evening

  7. Lets balance it ooo. Some tenants too are from hell o.
I once had a tenants that refused to pay rent when it was due . He said I shopuld do my worst.I had to drag him to court before I was able to evict him.

I asked him to go with the seven month rent he was owing , he said no o until the court mandated him to leave.
He had no money to pay rent but got money to hire lawyer who came to court with him.

Guy man wept when court asked him to move out ooo. I sha later asked him to go get another place with his oustanding rent due.

    1. Yeah,it's two ways,my mum's tenant locked the shop and didn't pay for a year.He said, his wife wasn't good in business and he is looking for someone that can help him manage, naso the man changed phone number. He wasn't ready to move not until my mum told him she will first report him to neighborhood securities before taking it higher,he came to move his things that same week.....some tenants can be wicked.

I am praying I don't have issues with this new one because him and his wife keep changing rules just within 3months of being their tenant.
