  1. When you see me on the road, pls give me a hug. It's not easy being a man. The things we do on the daily to keep the home and family isn't easy. Against all odds, some of us have chosen never to stain our hands to make it big. Pls appreciate us for this path we have taken to survive.

The sacrifices we have made in life is our genuine commitment to success.

One day everything will be fine someday and we will look back on the struggles.

    Goodnight Guys.

    4. Teejay, you can say that again. I wish I appreciated my father when he was alive. I never knew this is how challenging it gets to be raising a family. Nothing weighs like responsibility. What keeps me going is that he and countless other men didn't fail. I won't either.

As a father of two young boys and a beautiful daughter, I wake up everyday with the sense that I'm all they have and that's not changing. May God and good keep strengthening every man out there doing the best and good for his family.

    4. After thinking so much what to cook today, I settled for concoction rice too with plenty bonga fish and crayfish😋.

Really, it's not always easy thinking of what to prepare. And naija situation now has made most people's choices limited.

    5. Pls guys what is concoction rice? Is it like jollof rice?

      Delete
    6. Yes. Kinda. It's just not as methodical or of a strict recipe as Jollof. Just put in whatever is available in whatever order suits you. Looks and taste 'infrerior' to Jollof rice, but also nice in its own right.

  7. Bonsoir Blogfam ♥️
Something happened in my Nephew's school that ruined my mood, a Jss1 student after closing decided to go to boys hostel with 3 senior secondary school boys, this girl is 14 years old, I don't know why she is still in J.S.S 1, only God knows who opened the hostel for them, they all had sex with her and recorded it, it was consensual 😡😡😡
She was boasting to her classmates the next day, when her teacher heard, this happened in a catholic school in Ojokoro ( name withheld)
She has been suspended from the school because the cleaner also caught them in the act, this is so heartbreaking ☹️ parents we have so much work to do especially on our girls, this generation is something else.
I pray that video doesn't land on the internet 🙏
When I was in boarding school, we do have gateman at the entrance to check who is going in and out, where was the gateman when this happened, the girl wasn't a virgin hmmmmm

Something is terribly wrong with this incoming generation because what kind of news is this? Boasting of having sex with 3 boys at once at 14?? My God, where do they even want to start unpacking their problem from?

      Delete
    3. Yes, this is a sad occurrence. I hope all who were involved in the debauchery got suspended. A 14 yr old indulging in group sex is a sign of many things. Sometimes good parenting suffers at the feet of survival, making money and paying bills. A parent should ideally be at home when school is over to receive the children and watch over them. Sometimes parents send children to these parochial boarding schools in the belief that the troubled child will turn around and their absence will bring peace to the household, this is fast food parenting.

All the children who participated and witnessed the act need intervention.

    4. Gosh!
And what happened to the 3 SS boys?
Why did they even have a phone?
      Too many whys.
I perceive this isn't the girl's first encounter.
Moral decadence is at an all time high especially se?ual immorality.
I hope she gets therapy and the recording is quick gotten and deleted.
I feel so sad for the victim and her parents

    1. If you check, you may find out that someone close to home started abusing that girl at a young age. She didn't wake up and disvirgin herself. Someone stole her innocence and made her grow up beyond her age. The parents to have a heart to heart with her and make sure the person responsible is prosecuted. Sweeping abuse under the carpet and not getting the victim into therapy can make the victim to either hate sex or embrace it without shame.

  9. What did I do wrong?
I was discussing with my sister in-law (brother's wife) and we were talking about wealth and inheritance. I said I will like to be healthy, even wealthier than my husband.
I don't know who told my husband about this discussion that was had long time ago, now he is saying that I don't want him to grow, that I am not wishing him well.
    How ?!!!!!!

    1. Girl, there are some things you never let come out of your mouth. I don’t know you from a hole in the wall, so take what I write lightly. If you are a competitive person by nature do not bring it into your marriage. Your husband is not your competition, he is your family and the one you lay down next to at nights, the first face you see in the morning and the last at night. Do not compete with him in the world on anything. If you want to play cards or ludo together, that is entertainment not competition. If life should make it so you one day get to a higher status do not rub it in his face or look down on him. He is not your competition now or ever!

    2. What is wrong in your wanting to be richer than him? He should be happy he doesn't have a lazy wife and see it as a challenge to be better. Abeg don't limit yourself to massage his ego.

  10. This happened last year, I prefer entering my house from the backdoor/kitchen. Last year April I was coming back from church like 6pm. I saw an electrician whom I have been begging since to come fix something for me and he agreed to follow me home. He stood outside and I went through the backyard to open the door, . i saw a green snake at my backyard and shouted. The electrician saw the snake and ran away😭😭😭 I took a long iron and killed it. One month later, . I came back and was gisting with my neighbor outside. Something whispered to me.to.look.back. I did and lo and behold a snake was sidewinding towards us from the backyard . I shouted. My neighbor that I was gisting with ran away with her baby . I carried a heavy stone and targeted the head and killed it. The next two months. I packed out of that house. Till today, I still don't know where those strength came from but God be praised. So many things on my mind. What if I was unable to kill the snake. Honestly I will not sleep in that house again.

    1. Zaram, I would have ran too. I probably would’ve burned the damn house down cause I ain’t here for no snakes to come calling. Anytime I am travelling to a new country, I always research the snake situation there, this is why my azz ain’t been to no Australia, Indonesia, Thailand or Brazil.

I applaud your bravery and presence of mind while under pressure.

Two days ago another of our friend called to say they expelled the boy from school and refused him to join those writing waec as he is into drugs. He drugs girls to sleep with them.

  15. Husbandman cooked ogbono soup yes in a strange way. He meted the soup with red oil in a plate inside hot water as usual and later turned it into a boiling pot of water then started cooking, after sometime, he added pepper, salt, Maggi and then the smoked fish was the last item he added. I query him but his rely was "shebi you asked me to cook, I'm doing it my own way"
Honestly the soup smells and taste really good.

    1. It's another method instead of frying and it does taste absolute delicious. What I do is pour the ogbono in a steel plate, add palm Oil then place it in the meat pot so as the meat boils, the steel plate heats up as well.
