ReplyDeleteIt is the 21st century. The Nigerian senate still hasn't deemed it fit to pass a law banning open grazing. Brazil and Australia are the world's largest suppliers of cattle. They don't allow cattle roam about everywhere.
ReplyDeleteWhy must the rest of the country keep paying a price because a subset of the country, outright dolts that they are, have refused to embrace modern farming techniques and practices.
Lol, the 'subset' actually believe they own the country, so rhey can do whatever they like, I only blame the senate that refused to pass the necessary laws to curtailed their deadly activities.
DeleteThat is the problem with the country, those people think they own this country. The amount of meat people eat in the UK a day, I don't think they can consume it in one year in Nigeria, but I have never seen cattle walking around the main roads or destroying other people's properties or investment. They talk about ranchinng they refused, insisted on rearing the cattle everywhere destroying people's sweat and killing innocent people everywhere. And nobody is talking, even those are being killed still patronise them for meat, saying what can we do? Unless Nigerians sight tight, this menace will never stop. How can you be buying meat from people who shed blood daily. Nigerians have to rise above this challenges or else.
DeleteThis comment cracked me up. Argentina sef are beef exporters still they do not have herdsmen troubling them.
