Ah! Wahala
ReplyDeleteDepot stopped selling immediately they got the news too......down to petrol stations...will change prices soon.........lol
ReplyDeleteThey are fast to increase the pump price but very slow to reduce it. This was exactly what i was saying the other day.
DeleteWe are tired of paying the price for wars that have nothing to do with us. Every time conflict breaks out in an oil-producing region, global oil prices rise, and before long, Nigerians are hit with higher fuel prices, increased transportation costs, and more expensive food and essential goods. Once again, ordinary people are left to bear the burden.
ReplyDeleteIt makes you wonder who really benefits from these crises. While millions struggle with the rising cost of living, some individuals, corporations, and governments are making billions from oil price volatility. For them, instability is profitable. For the average citizen, it simply means more hardship.
Another question that comes to mind is this: if President Donald Trump claimed that Iran's military had been "decimated," how is Iran still able to launch missiles and hit strategic targets? The reality is that damaging a military is not the same as eliminating its ability to fight. Modern militaries are built with redundancy, dispersed assets, and the capacity to continue operations even after suffering significant losses.
Regardless of where anyone stands politically, one thing is clear: wars rarely end as quickly or as decisively as political rhetoric suggests. Unfortunately, while world powers pursue their strategic interests, countries like Nigeria continue to suffer the economic consequences through higher living costs and increased financial pressure on ordinary families.
The world needs more diplomacy and fewer wars. Innocent people should not have to pay the price for conflicts they neither started nor support.
