Nollywood Producer Ralph Nwadike Fires Back At CNN's Christiane Amanpour

REF:THE CHRISTINE AMANPOUR INTERVIEW

Ralph

                                                                 Amanpour

A lot of people have joined issues on the above CNN's respected journalist interview, but the fact remains that power has indeed improved. Before now, l was used to buying 25liters of petrol every other day for my two generators at home.

The last time l did buy a 25 liter jerry can was over a month ago, and l still have about 10 liters or so remaining. From my part of Lagos, Surulere, power has truly improved, and it is going round. The rot that has caused Nigerians Billion of Dollars surely must take time to improve.

The question is whose interest is Amanpour serving, when she did the embarrassing interview on My President? I personally felt insulted by that interview, and the rag-tag investigative journalism she put together. It wasn't a balanced interview , and it is to say the list with a bad intension. And rather than to tier ourselves on the Face Book page, we should see it as a collective slap on our faces. Do you guys think a Nigerian journalist can take on President Obama the way she did my President, and get away with it?

It's about time we see the goodness in what our leaders are doing, and see Nigeria as our collective responsibilities .If someone is doing well, tell him well done, so he can be strengthened to do more, but for goodness sake when you insult my President, and the commander in chief of the Nigerian Armed forces, and by the grace of God the Leader of over 160 Million Nigerians, you are taking on something far bigger than what the strength of CNN can take. Simply put, POWER HAS INDEED IMPROVED IN MY PART OF LAGOS(Surulere), and Amanpour can take a flight down and find out herself, and correct the ugly interview.

  4. These people looking to help the govt. waste our money will not stop to amaze me. Mr. Producer I live in Ikoyi and I assure you that my diesel consumption is increasing steadily.

The president is in this thing above his head. You cannot ask a pre schooler to sit for JAMB and expect him to pass. Be truthful to yourself.

We are in trouble in this country.

  7. This so called producer is a fool. I don't think a right thinking Nigerian can write such a stupid stuff. Ralph or whatever u call yourself, did u actually watch that interview? A so called President of a "great" nation like Nigeria that was so naive he couldn't even look at the camera because he was lying. U should be ashamed for having a generator as a Nigerian, the supposed 5 fifth largest petroleum producing country in the world. You should be ashamed that u still use a generating set as a Nigerian. It's people like u that say foolish things to get a cheap favor from the government. You are suppose to be a producer yet u you have nothing to show for it. You need to watch your back because people like you deserved to be punished. Idiot!!!

  8. Ralph Nwadike, The power increase in your little corner of Surulere doesn't mean it is the same everywhere so park well abeg!!! I live in satellite town and the situation is even worse than it used to be before now. It improved marginally during Barth Nnaji's tenure when we used to have a few hours of light everyday but now we don't see power for days.

All Amanpour asked the president were follow-up questions to the promises he made when she interviewed him shortly after his inauguration 3 years ago and the man could not give a cogent response to any of the questions. Did he think he was on that his arranger media chat with senior journalists who have been paid to massage his ego and ask pre-arranged questions?

  9. Mr Producer, abeg clean your mouth, lie full inside.

I live in Ajah and just seeing electricity in 6 days. Before then it was out for 3days. And no, our transformer is not faulty. We know people like you just want attention to get out of the free cake being shared by the prodigal son in Aso Rock. Amanpour is just doing her job. Let your shoeless president do his. C'est fini!

  10. Mr Ralph, Jonathan told bare faced lies during the interview. I live in Lekki Phase 1 and the cost of powering my generators is driving me crazy. Jonathan should do something about the power situation and stop paying lip service to it.
