  1. Stellai am SO disappointed. For u to be supporting mob justice? Wat if they had decided to take it a step further and rape her. Would u support it to? What happened to freedom of expression. The same freedom u express on your blog that u are continually harassed for. Are u living in the stone ages to support such? U really have a primitive mentality

    1. Yes Stella, I almost cried seeing this, who are they? What right do they have to do that to her? This is Nigeria's main focus now, what ladies wear? I am very dissapointed you should never justify things like this, look at those dirty looking men slapping her bum? She wore a long tight underneath , what is wrong with her dressing? Look ay their dirty looking faces, ugly people with a ugly heart... I wish I didn't watch the video, cos now I can't stop shaking...

  2. This is not so far from what happened to aluu4 becuz ppl like u justify mob justice. God only knows what hppened to her when they stoped recording. U r not worthy of being a role model and hope ure never seen as such. I feel sick watching this and u r here applauding it. Disgusting

    1. Honestly the video is bad but the fact that a so called enlightned woman like sdk with such a platform can promote and applaud it says alot. All the comments abt her being bitter and twisted are only confirmed by the glee with which she supported this. Whilst linda ikeji is figting against women being raped we have sdk encouraging it. Sickening

  8. You are a very stupid woman for saying she deserve what happened to her, this can happen to anybody even u stella or members of ur family. Pls,don't ever encourage this kind of thing.let her wear anythg she wanna wear,it doesn't give anybody the right to molest her. God have mercy

  9. Why would she wear such short dress and now walk past in a den of 'area boys'.. It makes no sense at all.. Our girls should learn what they call decency.. She was very luck it was not in the night, she might have been raped.. I am with you on this Stella

    ReplyDelete

    1. I hope u r with her on this one the day ur sister or wife gets raped. Idiot. Girls shud learn decency whilst men go around raping and molesting ppl?

  10. A rapists favorite defence is "she asked for it because of the way she was dressed" congrats stella u are now singing the rapists anthem on ur blog

    ReplyDelete
  11. You anonymous guys, Stella was only asking a question, besides it is her opinion, and she is entitled to it, just the same way you are entitled to yours.. You can't change certain factors in Nigeria.. 'Area boys' for that matter.. Who wants to arrest them or take them to court?? The lady could have been raped and nothing was going to happen.. Do you know where any 'area boy' live??? So next time she wants to wear such, she should time her movement and not walk in the lion's den.

    1. Stella was not asking her quetion. Her initial post said yes she got what she asked for and even said the video was uploaded for viewing pleasure. She still has this comment abt fowl and nyash. We are not condoning her dressing. Ppl shud know wat to wear and to where but stella should be using ber voice to dam violence against women instead of excitedly applauding it. Thats all we are saying

  12. This is so wrong if she wears a dress that short its her body and her business people should learn to respect other people and Their decisions.

  14. Stella. Instead of u to
Self reflect u r here now trying to
Defend ure useless comments. U r even contradicting urself. First u say u dont condone rape yet in the same line u say if she is raped she deserves it for wat she wears? In the 21st century? Wen rick ross is being massacred u as a woman are promoting violence against women? Thank God u r not someone who is taken seriously

  15. Thank u stella for editing yor post. It shows a lot. And yes those who attacked her were dead wrong and in a normal society should have ben dealt with. But its only thru education and awareness that social change can occur. And thats why voices like urs are important. U use ur platform to educate the masses and help
Change the way ppl think. Its the only way fwd. thank u for showing how big u r by going bk and editing ure post. Ittakes a strong person to do such

    2. My thoughts exactly! Those useless people will still go and patronise whores wearing worse things! The hypocisy in this country is alarming!

  17. she is silly for dressing like that. however those men should have just left her alone. they have no right to touch her. normally, people would stare and insult you, not actually touch you and harass you like this. this can happen anywhere, so ladies should try and cover up. maybe when u go clubbing, you can dress anyhow. my 2 cents

    ReplyDelete
  18. she might be a prostitute in the area for them to embarass her like this. i've seen people dress like this and even worse to markets, even entering buses in mushin, and no one harasses them.

    ReplyDelete
  19. But stella what kind of rubbish is this??? I mean are u a fool to support this?? This so wrong on soo many levels, that dress even wasn't too short and she even had the decency to wear panty hose under. May those pple be dammed, gosh

  20. I felt Pity for her, this is cruel

  21. The lady had every right to wear whatever she deemed fit and pass through any street as a Nigerian or even a foreigner,if any right thinking person didn't like what they saw they should have looked the other way. Barbaric acts like this shouldn't be encouraged. My heart grieves for what those lunatics put this lady through.

  22. They actually went to far, they had no right to do wat they did, wateva happened to fundamental human rights???

    ReplyDelete
  23. That was so disrespectful. She has the right to wear whatever she wishes wear,as long as she is comfortable in them. There is only one place where such disgusting act would happen to a human being and they go free. What a shame!

    ReplyDelete
  24. It happens in Nigeria bcos such dressing is seen as indicent dressing here. We r nt Americans, we r Nigerians. She ought to knw dht most Nigerians detest such dressing. If she had gone to a club wt dht dress nobody would v harassed her. I feel for her sha wt d guys did wz bad.

  31. The boys who did this things to this girl deserved some days in a pyschtric hospital, it is never done anywhere, we have freedom of expression, so she has the right to wear what she like, the men shd learn to behave. I hope the police authority get in to action to arrest thosed that did that to her, I praised the women who tried too help the poor girl. To u stella, u are a public opinion builder, we except u to to be object and not give ur opinion on such a griviopus matter.

  32. Don't like this at all. To a woman? Naijaaaaaa. So many of U need to be Well informed and enlightened. If U are not comfortable with what she is wearing, then look the other way. Thank God for the women that covered her up.

  33. Im so relieved to see the majority of ppl here believe this is wrong. I truly hope stella learns from this and sits back to reflect on how her views affect and how she can be more open minded. Sdk it seems ure instinct reaction when challenged is to react immediately and dig ur feet in deeper. My advice to u is to take a step back. Look around. Absorb ppls opinion and try and reform urs. U will find it will help u move a lot faster in ur career. In this case u tried but still tried to shift the blame to the by standers. I dont mean to be rude at all but ure maturity still
Has a little to grow. U dont always have to have the last word. And that includes memos.

  34. Stella I had a lot or respect for you and what you stood for but now..... Anyway I think you need to retract what you have said concerning this really unfortunate incident. Pls cause if you don't I just won't visit this blog again. To think you are a woman and I gather u reside in Europe. It's just damn right wrong that you would support anything about this. She could have come out wearing pant and bra and not deserve this. I Thot u were exposed. This is a new low for you Stella. Pls do the right thing and apologize for your comment. Pls. Pls.

Stella never said she supported the way the Monkey/Lady was treated she only said she dnt support her dressing which i dnt tink anybody sane person would.
