News is out that the human rights lawyer and activist was released this morning.

There are no details yet as to whether any ransome was paid or not but he is alive and free....Thank God.

I am sure details will be out later.

  10. Shey na like this we go dey dey? Security of lives in this country of ours is totally non existent. Kidnapping has become a norm, kidnappers have become gods of sorts. Won't be surprised if they grant kidnappers amnesty sometime soon, absorb them into the society after negotiations. The next thing, they will begin to sponsor weddings in Dubai and buy airplanes. God dey!

  14. A country where it's citizens cry "thank God" after a kidnapped victim has been released has NO HOPE.

    Where is the indignation, where is the anger? Where is the fighting spirit? Yet a post that has FFK and who he is currently sleeping with garners so much interest.
