1...... I packed up my bags and set out for an adventure. A long time dream of mine was to go on a road trip with a group of friends around Nigeria. So last February thats exactly what I did. I packed up my home in London, called a few good friends, with some cameras rolling we set out to Nigeria. Indeed it has been an Adventure! So far we have travelled from Lagos to Kebbi State by road in a Toyota mini bus. I have to say it’s been way more than I expected! I got to finally visit the Osogbo Grove, it was just as beautiful and a lil creepy as I had imagined. I don’t want to go into so much details of the trip because my dream adventure is now going to be on TV! Whoohoooo… Watch out for Road Trip Nigeria! Coming soon on one of your favourite Tv Stations. 2.... I took a mini break, didn’t go anywhere special though, but after travelling around Nigeria I needed a chill time. I did nothing but lounge around, eat and swim all day. It gave me enough time to think about everything I had done, seen or experienced on the way. I learnt a lot about myself on this trip, or rather shall I say I rediscovered myself. Sometimes you just need that little time out from everything and everyone to get your mind back on track. I’m in a new phase now, am doing what ever makes me happy regardless of what anyone thinks. finally, I am living for me!
3...... I actually conquered some of my fears (phobias). Well, obviously you cant go on a journey like this and not encounter some of your greatest fears. Mine might be a lil funny to you but honestly I find them terrifying! For instance, I am super claustrophobic (fear of being closed-in, esp small spaces) but thanks to my Bff Joy Madaki she made me try an Aqua Massage Therapy at the airport in Lagos, you know those weird coffin looking things in the airport? yep that! 5mins was like 100hrs to me, although it helped with my back ache but still it was a lil creepy for me, I had to mentally take myself to a different place and I kept saying “almost done almost done” Lol. Also, I’m a little scared of heights but I had to climb the Ijesha Waterfall in Osun State, to the top. Trust me it wasn’t easy! I cant remember how high it is exactly but if you’ve visited the waterfall am sure you know what am talking about. Oh! I did this without any rope or life support equipments hahahaha… no joke! but when you’ve already made it to the top you definitely have to come down, right? So I had no choice but to suck it up and climb like a monkey lol. Anyways, thats enough for now, in due time I’ll talk about all the rest.
And Last but not least, I also have an upcoming Radio show with my good friend Munachi Abii (former most beautiful Nig) and Rapper Eldee. Look out for that too its gonna be craaaaaaaaaaazzzzyyyyyyyyy…. Whoohoo! For those of you outside Nigeria, don’t worry its gonna be live streaming online, so you can join us live in the studio. And those of you not interested in that, I gotchya’ll coz I’ll be starting my very own podcast on this site all with my beauty&fitness tips and interviews. Whew! am gonna be a busy bee!

ReplyDeleteChai!! I am claustrophobic too and dat shit affects me so bad. I cant evn use elevators like dat. I prefer using the staircase. My aunt owns the aquamassage bed at the airport and in silverbed but i v never gone on them,i always feel like i ll be trapped.its a constant struggle
