ASUU Thank You For Calling Off The Strike...!

After almost a full term pregnancy, the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities have today after a crucial meeting finally called off their strike and instructed their warring lecturers to go back to the classrooms.
Thank God for that right?

The sad bit is that so many students will not be returning to their schools.

Some have died..
Some are pregnant,
Some have been shipped off abroad
and some have joined trading business.
whatever it is,some will not be returning.

Say a quiet prayer for those students who fell during the strike..may their souls RIP.

  12. Stella that's very thoughtful and nice.

I do know someone, a student who passed away.
Never met him before, but he was a friend on Facebook. He had all these inspirational daily quotes, and also very hilarious quotes and jokes he updated daily. That's how I noticed him on my wall.
Some days ago, I went online and I got a shocker...RIP***....
He was gone....just like that. And I cried ...I really felt his death, even though I never knew him personally. I went back to his wall, for the first time ever, and started reading his profile and the updates, he posted with his own hands a few days to his demise. And I cried some more.

    RIP Nani.
I never knew you, but your cheerful and brilliant attitude caused me to notice you on my wall and I always looked forward to your updates.
Rest in the bosom of the Almighty.

  39. Heheheh... I can remember one of those strike when I was in school... Went on for 5months,went from one state to the other visiting and then finally met hubby.... See hubby forming poor only for me to be taken to a mansion after marriage.... When I remember the whole story,I just laugh and ask over again, why he did that... All my visit to lag then he was pretending to be squatting with a friend. Never dressed so well when am around and was carrying and id card of an employee in a company when he was the owner....

Sorry for blabbing, just that anytime there is a strike,I just remember how I met hubby and how we got married same day in the village cos he was pretending to be poor only to be brought back to a house I can't believe I am living in...

God is indeed kind... It will soon be wedding anniversary.... Whoop whoop,it would be 3yrs soon and he still cooks for me,never raises his voice at me and makes sure he does all to keep me happy... The amazing part is he's never home late despite his social status, never been home anything later than 6pm and he's been to club just 4times since marriage and they were all with me... Were,God bless you boo for been the best friend, lover, hubby, companion, brother and an amazing father to the boys(twin)..., may God keep blessing u for me and take u to greater heights and keep putting it in your hrt to love me more .... The only boo who uses a blackberry but doesn't have bbm on his phone...lol love u to the moon and back...

No need for insults pls... Just got emotional all over again
