Iyabo Obasanjo's Letter Was Written In The Villa?....Oghene Ovie!

As Nigerians still search for the reasons behind the Iyabo Obasanjo's letter to her father, ex President Olusegun Obasanjo which was made exclusively available to Vanguard Newspaper, an impeccable source has told ‘ TRANSPARENCY FOR NIGERIA  the whole truth about how the letter letter came to be.
In the letter, Ms. Obasanjo described her father as a liar, manipulator, megalomaniac, narcissistic, two-faced hypocrite determined to foist on President Goodluck Jonathan what no one would contemplate with him as president. She also ruled out further communication with her father till death.

According to our source, a leading member of Mr. Jonathan media team who was once a respected journalist with a Lagos based media house is the brain behind the letter.

Our source told us that Iyabo Obasanjo and the media aide who is from the same state as her had been friends and she had always confided in him her bitterness towards her father.
According to our source, long before the former president wrote the 'famous' 18 -page letter to Mr. Jonathan, Iyabo had  been planning to write an explosive open letter to her father, but had been stopped from doing so all these while by the same aide who told her not to try it so as it could deepen the family crisis and would only amount to washing their dirty linens in the public, an advice which Iyabo had since accepted.

However following the acerbic letter to his boss by the former president titled ‘Before It’s not too late,' the aide, we gathered had to put pen to paper all that Iyabo had told him in the course of their conversations, and sent it across via mail to her for her perusal which she did and consented to.
The letter was then sent by Ms. Obasanjo to Vanguard editor, who was shocked at the content. Before going to press with the publication, a call we gathered was put across to her, where she agreed that the content of the letter be made public.
The media aide, we gathered was among the first to get the Vanguard publication of the letter and hurriedly took it to President Goodluck Jonathan.

Mails sent to the aid by 'Transparency For Nigeria' to confirm this story was not replied as at the time of going to press.

*I am trying so hard not to believe this because this is someone i hold in high esteem,If this is true, this is some politically motivated bullshit...I am sure the fingered  media aide will respond to this publication soon.
Please if you are following this person on twitter, tweet this at him ohh.we need to know!

*Oghene Ovie is an exclamation for JESUS IS LORD!

  12. I doubt if Abati could have descended so low and neither Iyabo herself. She aint a kid to be pushed around that way and I believe this report is from OBJ camp as they want to discredit the presidency the more.

Shebi he get mouth to reply Atiku dat time dey where fighting, he get mouth to abuse IBB, why hasn't he even said a word about this to any one. 16. Believe it or not this letter is written from Iyabo. Its obvious she had a lot in her mind. The pain she went through while growing up can not be mistaken. They said she did not write it now the latter was written by another person n sent to her 4 approval. How dumb can pple be. SMH.

  20. This letter na wash. From the beginning of this issue till the day it will die Iyabo didn't write that letter and I don't believe all that stuff about her up there. This is politics and this nonsense is from GEJ's camp. Let them just stop all this drama and give this nation meaning jare! #long hiss#

  21. The simplest way for us to find out if Iyabo didn't write the letter is to sue Vanguard!
Whereby she does not, then I will assume that yes,she knew something about the letter and had a hand in it.
But Nigerians ooo, this is what will continue to kill us.we are too lazy to fight for our rights.
This whole issue we are all suppose to be pa of for the betterment of our country, some people are already backing off and sending several seats to iyabo, obj, abati,Jonathan, via Stella.
Let's stand up to our rights
We are all part of this nation oo,not just the politicians.
IYABO SUE VANGUARD IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS.....PERIOD!!!!!...
    Let's have more drama!.
    Nonsense!!.......In fact I am vexed!

    2. True. Nigerians should ask questions on the allegations in the letter to GEJ. Those allegations are deep, is he trully building a killer squad with the help of Al Mustapha? I honestly care less about Iyabo's letter to her Dad, its just a distraction. Even if Jonathan wants to contest in 2015, what has he done in 3 years, nothing.

  22. Thank you Jlo. Nigerians like chasing shadows instead on focusing on the key issues that will affect them in the long run.
