The mother of tragic Mikaeel Kular was last night charged in connection with his death.
Rosdeep Kular, 33, is being held after the body of three-year-old Mikaeel was discovered just days after she reported him missing.
The Mum-of-five is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Mikaeel’s body was found after a huge search in dense woodland at the back of Kular’s sister Pandeep’s bungalow in Kirkcaldy, Fife, shortly before midnight on Friday.
The hunt began after Kular, known to friends as Rosie, told police the last time she saw Mikaeel was at her home 20 miles away in Edinburgh at 9pm on Wednesday when she put him to bed.
Mikaeel and his twin were Rosdeep’s most recent children.
They have had no contact with their Pakistani father.
In 2003 Rosdeep married Omotoso Adekeyo, a Nigerian taxi driver, and gave birth to son Tarun three months later. They had another son, David, in 2006 and daughter Renuka in 2008.
The relationship broke down and although the couple are not yet divorced, Mr Adekeyo lives in a flat near Rosdeep’s.culled

why would anyone carry a child for nine months,give birth to him,nurture him and then kill him....she has five children,how come she didnt kill the others?something is not right here.

DeleteWhy on earth will she kill her son? This could be a a first hand allegation placed to hold her down first whilst they proceed for the actual cause of the little boys death.
ReplyDeleteListen.... Before British Police can arrest and charge a woman for the murder of her son then it means they have some serious evidence to suggest that she indded carried out the act.. Its sad tho..it was probably an accidental death and she panicked and dumped the body.

Psychologists are saying its the pressure of January. Christmas bills are coming in and just the pressure.

ReplyDeleteYou'd be surprised, @people asking why a mother would kill her own child. It is quite common in the west at least in the UK and US, (from news stories I've seen).
ReplyDeleteA relationship breaks down and the offended party feels the most effective way to get back at the partner who wants to leave, is to kill any children they have between them. I've heard about nothing less than 5 cases in the past 2 years alone.
In some cases, there might be some undiagnosed mental issues which are triggered by the relationship problems, but in some cases it is sheer devilishness. But u can bet their lawyers would plead insanity on their behalves!
There was even a case where a couple set their home on fire, killing 6 of their children (the man had 17 children altogether from several women, so I guess he felt he could afford to lose 6! SMH!). It was later discovered that their motive was to set up one of the man's girlfriends. They had planned to rescue the children but they didn't bank on the fire spreading so fast. Unfortunately 6 beautiful kids died that day!
A lot of things are happening in this world sha! God have mercy!
It happens everywhere, in Nigeria things are not reported. I know a son who killed his father it was hush hush, if not for the internet you will still be in denial that Nigeria is holy

ReplyDeleteThe woman just got the kids back from social services and she had history of locking them in the house and going to pubs.That is why they think she killed him.I am her neighbour and i actually think some accident happened in the house when she locked them in,she came back from her outing and met the dead body then threw the body away and reported the boy missing.There is no fucking way Mikaeel would have gone to Fife on his own.No way and he was found near his former house o.his aunt still lives in the house at Fife.
