Exam Cheats Return WAEC Certificates...Say They Are Now Born Again

When you welcome Jesus into your life you become a new creature right?all old things including sins committed are forgiven and no longer count before God right?so why would these people return their WAEC certificates when God has forgiven them already?isnt that a really bad move?or is that i do not understand what ''old things passing away'' means?

Returning that WAEC certificates will take them back to zero level and make them dependent on someone else for their daily bread.....I still think they should not have returned it abeg...whats your take after reading this story?

The SUN reports that ''In what may come as a big surprise to most people, no fewer than 15 persons recently returned certificates issued to them by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
According to them, they had to give up the certificates because they cheated during the examination, and now as Born Again Christians, they could not live with “the sin.”
These individuals approached WAEC through letters seeking restitution after confessing how they dubiously acquired their certificates when they wrote the examinations at various periods.
The Council wrote back to them, stating that what they were expected to do was to return the certificates awarded in line with the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of the examinations.
However, only a few responded, including a holder of Teachers’ Grade 11 certificate.
It was learnt that those who complied with the directive returned their certificates to various WAEC offices nationwide and the council took their case to the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC), which, at its 55th meeting in Lagos, cancelled the returned 15 certificates.

Heaven is real and hell is real,Restitution is part of the sanctification experience, Everything created in this world is vanity and don't matter, seek he first the kingdom of God first, they did the right thing,Waec or MBA result those not guarantee you success like Dangote or any of your mentors;true Salvation can give you eternal rest in the lord;Remember what shall it profit Wole Soyinka &co to gain the world and loose your soul... happy Sunday guys.

    2. Kaycee you are wicked. U are among the fanatics in christianity. Somebody I know was brain washed in his church (name witheld) in d name of restitution. He spent over 7yrs in univ including waiting yrs. My question now is, who bears d boy's liabilities? His aged parents who were struggling to pay his fees or d church? Kaycee, he is now wasting at home!
U see God is compassionate. Even when Jesus saved d adulterous woman, he said she shd go and sin no more. We are redeemed thru Christ. Repent genuinely of ur sins, u can atone for them in many ways esp by never going back to them. But being an unnecessary economic burden on someone else is also a sin. I pray God bestows His wisdom on us all.

    3. But when Zacheus experienced Jesus,he said anyone he cheated,he'll repay in fourfold. We all have our beliefs especially as regards restitution. Nothing beats returning what is not yours. Because so far you have that thing with you and feel guilty about it,only returning it can take the guilt away. In this case, their waec result.

  8. Good of them. They should also return other higher degree certificates since the foundation was fraudulent. Also to be returned are cash and other assets that accrued to them anywhere those certificates were used, including wives/husbands

  9. Did they return their University degrees as well? Because they got admitted because of those waec results.

And did they return all the salary they've earned because of that waec certificate/college degree?

If not. Then they are only deceiving themselves. Im sorry to say so. But the waec result has served is purpose.

    Whatever rocks your boat

  14. If returning the certificates will give them peace of mind and clear conscience, then so be it.

Individuals are of different opinion/perspective/attitude to life and living. Having so much bad weight on one's conscience, is killing.

    So, whatever rocks their boat.

  19. Yes bloody pharisian hypocrites! Will u now return all the properties including virginities you have stolen? And all the lies you have told including the several lives you have taken through abortion? Its all religiousity. As Christian, u are supposed to confess your sins to God who forgives if you truly repent. And then try and sin no more. Period.

  20. The Lord works in mysterious ways thoo... I remember I cheated in WAEC for just Mathematics, I couldn't solve a question all thru my secondary education, tried on my own to write Waec twice but I kept failing maths, had to opt for a special centre... Got a different understandin in my 100level, all thru my university days and professional courses I have never cheated amd God helpin me I stil won't cheat... I have asked God for forgiveness and he has forgiven me, don't think I have to return my WAEC cert cos of that thoo... If that's what the holyspirit. Wants them to do, so be it..

  21. I know a guy that did the same. In fact in his own case he went as far as rejecting the admission he gained in Nasarawa state university and rejoining secondary school from Ss2. The most pathetic part is that he is still writing WAEC TILL DATE, yet to pass.

  22. ds is sensitive as it bothers on restitution and our part to get it right wit God all round.ds is an act of restitution so i wont say anytyn..nufn in ds world is really worth attaching much imptnc to if u heavenly minded.God stil does miracles, who knows his plans for them?he said in hs word if any part of our bodies wud make us lose heaven,we shud cut it off dan havn our whole bodies in hell.only God will n can trully help us in ds race.

  23. RESTITUTION,we call it! Even after being born again, there are some things you have done in the past that you still need to go and do restitution for. And don't forget restitution is a vital part of Christianity. I'm not God and ain't judging but we Christians of these days don't take the restitution thing serious anymore. I see no wrong in what they've done anyways, since they've decided to start from the bottom and have strong conviction pertaining the return of the certificates,no P. But u guys don't need to lash them out with your mouths. I'm no preacher and yes I'm not acting all holy,I just spat what I feel concerning the decision they made.
    Happy Sunday to y'all

  25. Looking at this from another perspective, the waec certificates were retured, cool! If it was murder they committed can they return life back into the victim? When we confess our sins I believe we are totally forgiven

    ReplyDelete
  26. Seems like they wanted to be free of the guilt and shame. If retuning the certificates release them from the burden of guilt and shame then it was the right thing to do. Nothing is better than mental freedom

  27. Na only waec them cheat? What about for Primary and JSS? Yes, you remember when you don't know the answer for question 4 and you asked Emma?ehhen!

So, if they want to really repent, make all of them go repeat Primary one.
