    1. Congrats Lupita!

Once God decides to single a fellow outta a crowd to Favour and bless d fellow,it just doesn't matter if ur ugly or beautiful, doesn't matter if u deserve it,just that lil effort pushes u to d top. I can't help pondering n wondering how many white actresses who have been dreaming of winning d oscar n all d other awards Lupita won not to talk of our 9ja actors who can only dream of these awards n here she is_God's favour is all is I c in this Lupita's case.

  5. What people do not know is that this Lupita didn't just come out from Kenya last year. She went to an acting school in the USA for 3 years or so. So,she is a trained actress. So,ChaCha Ekeh,go get trained n drop that annoying twist of ur mouth n those UcheRod Jombo-inspired jerky movts of the body. Angela Okorie, pls follow suit.

      Delete
    2. Angela does not know how to act,i still repeat when.movies were movies, people like Angela can't get a role,Nigerian producers should know that, someone like Esther Audu and some new very good upcomers impress me more,i dont Like seeing Angela on my screen

      Delete
    3. I remember when that Chacha dey copy Tonto, she is a local Abakiliki girl that couldn't be like Tonto at all, theu can't be themselves,i still prefer Eve sha

      Delete
    4. Tchidi Chikere, decasted that girl called Angela, she had acted some scenes when he told her to leave, cos she couldn't act, sometime ago,so good directors like Tchidi knew she is not a good actress, and this isn't a story it's so true, they are forcing her on us,i leant he only worked with her recently when the producer of the Movie insisted,i learnt she used to give marketers money to add and producer the movies she features in,they should stop forcing her on us

      Delete
    5. Which Tchidi be good director, the most annoying part is that he will now put him self as a xter, with his stiff body,

    8. She wasn't d only one flogged in d movie but she made the flogging very real that u actualy felt d pain more than on the others. There was just something very "real" in her acting.
If they didn't want to be racist then Chiwetel should have an Oscar. Enuf said.

  19. When I saw 12yrs of slave,I only noticed how good chiwetal was. I was also mighty glad that Brad Pitt played a very minor waka pass role.As for Lupita,I need to go watch it again. The only scene where she impacted on me was where she was flogged, and that scene was to true to life that I averted my eyes. Hope she shines on.Hope its not a flash in the pan reign...am still searching for those actresses that won awards in 'the maid'. Hollywood has a way of projecting a new black star and kick quietly kick same to the background after several nights of glory. May lupita's reign be long.

I was praying she wins this Oscar because she is so REAL in her acting.

Where is Dencia? Do you still claim not to know Lupita?

You turned white just to be noticed yet was mistaken for Nicky Minaj at the Grammy's... but Lupita stands noticed even in her very dark skin

  25. Award well deserved! Congrats girl, for making Africans proud. Nollywood i hope u all are watching? What has overhyped Genevive Nnaji ,Chika Ike and self made queen of screen goddess Omotala jalede won? NOLLY WOOD is full of untalented, arrogant idiots! They are only overhyped by bloggers and soft sale magazines. Aside Omotala and a few others who are little decent others win their own OSCARS by warming filthy beds and sucking dicks of our corrupt old politicians. Am sure the saw what and where talent and humility can take one to! Congrat onceagain our beautiful LUPITO.

  26. congrats lupita, havent watched the movie but definitely gonna do so ASAP....that aside she needs to stop showing cleavage. this dress she wore is beautiful but her chest is too dry and manly...pray she takes that advice or get a boob job ASAP....

  27. Lupita did not just come out of nowhere she had a starring role in Shuga MTV and a production assistant on the Constant Gardener and other hollywood films her Yale education also helped a lot. Dencia how far? Cat got your tongue huh? The "white man's slave" which is what you called Lupita has just won an Oscar. Thank God for screenshots if she ever deletes those tweets I have them:)

  28. I agree with Billie on this, I think she's overrated . What this execs do is they bring out one black person and hype per season. It's just like the high fashion world, there's no room for 2 cat walk queens. To me the person who deserves all of this hype is Chiwetala not Lupita. All the same kudos to her, it's her time in the lime light, make great use of it cause they chew you and spit you out, that's Hollywood for you.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Make una tell Chika Ike and others say this is a real success no be to dey knack politicians and dey go dubai up and down, buying shoes and bags post for fb,twitter and blogs..... Our naija actresses cant inspire a rabbit sef to talk less say another person.... they are always sending out the wrong messages to our gals showing off material things wey they no use their get but men do for them....I pity for them all... well done Lupita!

  30. Like seriously, this girl is overhyped. Congratulations to her though.

  34. #proudly africa# I dnt knw d movie, I think I need to go see it.

  35. Mrs D; it won 7 awards. Watch Gravity and enjoy the sound and effects. If you like sci-fi you'll love it. It leaves you on the edge of your seat. Bullock held that movie. Well, it was all about her. It's the best movie I have seen in 3D (better than Life of Pi and Avatar.)

The movie to watch is Dallas Buyers Club. Absolutely off the chains. Well deserved by McConaughey and Leto.

Congrats to Lupia Nyong'o. Big things popping.

    DiCaprio and Ejiofor, one day!

  36. Go Lupita! im very happy for her!first black african woman to win an oscar yes! but truth be told Chiwetel was far better than her in the movie, i hope she didnt win cos she was naked in the movie oooo.
