I am glad you confessed finally that you never liked me from the very beginning, I complained about your son's infidelity and you asked me if that was why I was overreacting by breaking his windshield, you told your son is a fine man, that I should better behave yourself, you told me even if he has 10 or 20 of them outside, that I am the one who he married and so I should endure, you told me to use my knees as my weapon and pray for him.

My brother's wife that I thought we were besties, it was on the day of her birthday I realised she was pretending all along. Even the birthday I knew how much I spent . All her friends were looking at me with bad eyes and she was seated amongst them. I was even expecting her to introduce us but for where? It was when I interacted with one of her friends that was dishing food that one that has never met me before gave me a look down and looked at me nastily without replying me that I got the message. I have ignored her since then. Later she would go and say her husband's family does not like her.
It is obvious she does not want her as a daughter in law.

She should not have married to anyone whose mother has a stern face like that, she literally looks like Endora from Bewitched. Rich ppl with hard faces are not nice. See how Banky's mother looks peaceful and joyful, good ppl have an essence. Folks don't want to do face reading because they have been conditioned to not judge a book by its cover, they better judge when it comes to marriage and who they decide to make children with. The eyes, nose and set of the mouth can't lie. The words coming out of the lips and what ppl find funny will tell you all you need to know about them.

Not everybody mother in-law have time for nonsense. Some respect themselves enough, don't cross boundaries or even send you and your bad character. They get involved only when necessary and offer advice.

DeleteMost of the time when I hear DILs talk like that I automatically suspect there was no close bond between the two parties because there was a lady who complained too that when her dad died, her MIL didn't show up nor call her mom to give condolences to her mom meanwhile her parents and her husband's mother never spoke when they were alive. The husband's mom said when son's wife visits her and her phone rings and the Dils' parent call their daughter, she would hear the daughter say to her parent, I am at my mother in laws place and the parents won't say give the phone to your MIL, let's greet her. The husband's mom said they never spoke on the phone only when they met at their children's event which was like one in five years. She also said she and the wife's parent do not have each other's numbers.
DeleteBut the lady up there and her parent tried to be close to the woman. They tried to form a bond with her yet she wasn't having it because of social status. They called her and she didn't pick. It's obvious she never wanted to be close to them.
I hope she has receipts and evidence in her favour cause this matter go long.

ReplyDeleteMy dear, just divorce that man and leave that family alone. They are obviously not decent ppl, and only measure the worth of others based on their social status. You and your family are humble folks, there is no shame in that. Sometimes you too worship these ppl and put them on a pedestal as though they are something special, everybody's shyt stink and I am 100% sure that woman's breath stinks in the morning. When you put God on a pedestal then you will see Him guide you to people who have His spirit living in them. Put God first. Leave the marriage before your horseband brings home something that there is no cure for. Be happy they do not like you, nobody needs vile ppl's love anyway.
