ATTENTION -National Commission For Adult and Mass Literacy

THIS IS THE HEIGHT OF WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES!!!

Those in charge at The National Commission for Adult and Mass Literacy should not ignore this mail..it is an SOS and they should act accordingly....please!

''In january 2013, I got a job with a federal government establishment(National Commission For Adult and Mass Literacy). This was like a miracle after being unemployed for 3years after graduating from the university.
With joy I resumed work immediately as stated in my appointment letter. Being a devote Christian, I put in all my best at work. Before, I resumed work I was told by some people that the federal government usually do not pay salaries of new employees till after 3 months.

After which the 3months salary will be paid in arrears. Eventually, the 3 months came and passed but we weren't paid even a dime. The fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh came still we were not paid neither could anyone explained to us why we were not paid. The eight month came, we were paid only for that month(september 2013).
From that time till now that I write to you those 7 months salary arrears have not been paid and nobody is even saying anything about it. I'm the first child in a family of seven with a widowed mother.

As I write to you now, am doing so in tears because even the people I borrowed money from to transport my self to work and eat for those 7 months without pay are on my neck because I have not been able to pay back fully.

Please, Stella help me channel this to the right authorities so that our 7 months arrears will not disappear like money usually does in this country of ours.

Thank you and God bless you. You are a gift to the voiceless!

*Stuff Like this only happens in Nigeria,it is so freaking unfair!......WTF!

  5. U will get paid eventually. Moaning about it won't solve the problem. At my place of work, we got paid our arrears nearly 2 years after we started working and it was paid in 2 instalments over 6 months apart. When we complained, the directors blatantly told us that we should be grateful for the job we have and that if the arrears was such a problem, we should resign.
Its a pity especially for people with so many responsibilities.

  19. Reno Omokiri or what is that is his name, the jobless one on twitter can hear stories like this. Aunty Stella can only do so much. Let us bombard his twitter account, Jona;s facebook account...will you all follow me and do this. I do not work for this agency, I do not live in Nigeria but this is annoying. All people will say is, let God punish, let their children bla bla bla. If you are up for it, let us make them uncomfortable until they answer this lady and those that have not been paid for two years.

  20. Someone is using the money to fund his or her life style the past months or it was deposited into a special account to accumulate bank interest. Same thing happen to family member at Nafdac, they were paid after Sahara reporters published the issue last year.

  22. Aunt'm Stella. How do we do this. Reno is on twitter, I am no pro on things like this but I would like to know how to go about swarming this guys inbox. He can be the hope that these people need to get their money. He likes asking questions about how things are faring with electricity, etc. Maybe if we send him enough messages he will answer or direct us to the right place. It might not do too much, or it might make a change. I am willing to try on these people's behalf because it is so annoying to see people saying "me they have not paid us for the last 2 years". THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL. Aunty, if you have his email address, please let us know.
