Happy Democracy Day Nigeria

This is just a formality to keep up with the date....

From the bottom of my heart,i do not believe there is anything to celebrate about Nigeria's Democracy...too much to reflect on.

There is too much rot in the system and i keep wondering when things will become better financially, economically, socially and otherwise for my fellow Nigerians.

I cannot celebrate any man imposed democracy but i celebrate you Nigerians for staying strong in all of the rot and holding on ......for not losing hope despite the hopelessness facing ya'all.

Enjoy your day if you can,go out with friends and celebrate the good things God has done for you.

  9. Happy democracy day to who?is it d president or citizens?whats there to be happy abt?Stella am with u on dis;there is nothing to celebrate!democracy has brought more pain to pple than even d military era, they say d military killed:but more pple av died and are dying on the altar of power tussle bcos of democracy!we are still bedevilled by the monsters called bokoharam created by democracy, men bcos of their selfish interest and love for power have become evil schemers dining with the devils,a leader in power will say one thing on tv,but behind cameras connive with the enemies? How's dat?no wonder Fela called it a demonstrat_ion of craze!...if only dat was all,but no!hunger, unemployment, homelessness, financial hardship, accidents, crime etc all have become worst dan in the military era!so what's d use of democracy?someone will say freedom of speech?dat truely is d only benefit for y'all!but then as the pple have been talking and complaining and critizing the govt under d so called 'freedom of speech ' tag,has it changed anything?rather more sorrow, tears and blood!freedom of speech is their only gift to us',(they say in their hearts)keep talking but we will still do as we want!llol!
Comparing the evils of the two regimes, the military rule still stands as best for this country we are just deceiving ourselves demonstrating_craze!time will tell.

  10. We have alot to celebrate on low key.
HAPPY DEMOCRACY DAY NIGERIA AND NIGERIANS and not 'BIAFRA'!
Shame on those who want to make this great Nation of ours split. What our founding fathers fought for.
We have to fight on in making sure this great nation lives on even if not for any other reason but in respect to the memories of those who lost their lives in the struggle; all those who died in the Nyanya bomb blast, Jos bomb blast, the over 200 girls abducted, all our galant soldiers who laid down their lives in the struggle against these demons called Boko Haram. RIP to all those who lost their lives!
And to all those troubling the peace of this Nation, with tears in my eyes, i pray that your judgement comes soonest.
NIGERIA IS THE ONLY COUNTRY WE CAN CALL OUR OWN.
    GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
LONG LIVE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.

  11. All powerful and merciful Father. You are the God of Justice, Love and peace, you rule over all the nations of the earth. Power and might are in your hands and no one can withstand you.

We present our country Nigeria before you, we praise and thank you for you are the source of all we have and are. We are sorry for all the sins we have committed and the good deeds we have failed to do. In your loving forgiveness, keep us safe from the punishments we deserved. Lord, we are weighed down not only by uncertainties but also by moral, economic and political problems. we are weighed down by clueless and inept leaders. Listen to the cries of your people who confidently turn to you. God of infinite goodness, our strength in adversity, our health in weakness, our comfort in sorrow. Be merciful, to us your people; spare this nation Nigeria from chaos, anarchy and doom. Spare us bad leaders.
Bless us with your kingdom of Justice, Love and Peace. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
