NYSC To Mobilise Corpers Only Twice This Year

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has stated that prospective corps members will be mobilized for service in only ‘A and B’ batches for this year.
In a press release signed by the Director of Press and Public Relations in NYSC, Mrs. Bose Aderibigbe, it stated that the change became necessary due to some operational exigencies.

“We wish to inform the general public, especially prospective corps members,
that due to some operational exigencies, Corps members will be mobilized in only two batches this year, i.e. 2015 Batch ‘A’ and 2015 Batch ‘B’.

“Furthermore, the 2015 Batch ‘A’ Orientation Course has been scheduled to take place from Tuesday, May 5 to Tuesday, May 26, 2015, and not in the month of March as obtained in the previous years,” it said.

They should increase d allowance they give them after wasting one year of their lives.
When I served allowance was 9,775N
Three months after I passed out they increased it to 19,775N.

    1. If u 2 ain't happy together Hw do u expect to bring up a happy child. Don't hold on to each other jst cos of the child since u 2 never got married. So jst tell him, u want him to be happy & u want same for yourself too, ur tired of the continuous unhappiness existing btw u 2. On that note he should concentrate more on taking care of the child, u guys can reach an agreement on monthly payments, school fees & all. Dat way u reduce the plenty communication dat leads 2 issues. I hope ur not living together, if u are all these I've said doesn't apply in dat case. Meanwhile don't lay emphasis on the other people in d picture ie ur boyfriend or his girlfriend. Hope this is useful. Takia

    6. My dear since you both have people you cherish differently I would advise you both marry who you love and map out a plan for caring for your child.you can even leave tge kid with your parents so that the child would grow up in a seemingly stable environment...

Btw why would fuck a guy you dont even cherish, not only that without protection..haba...na so your vagina loose shuooo....you these children of now a days...stay of fornication una no go hear..

Anyway im glad you didnt abort the baby,I laud you for that...

Nb...getting pregnant and having a baby wont foster a love that was non existent...I hope you dont go further having numerous babydaddies. Just be careful in subsequent relationships so that some men that want to fuck osho free thinking because you have a baby you are the worst ashawo..im just talking dont want pipo taking advantage of the result of a careless sex.
      Peace

    7. You are not happy with each other, dose he want to wife you or what, you never said he intend to marry you,or is it that you want to be a baby mama to him forever while he wife the person he cherished, having a baby for a man does not make him love you or stay with you, both of you are not happy with each other why don't you just call it quit,so that you can bring up your child in happiness and loved from wherever you find it

      Delete
    8. Hmmmm.... I'll advice you guys try and work things out o... You are a woman and its very difficult for a man to marry a lady with a child so try and work it out with him.. This is Africa... How are you sure the one you cheriah , cherishes you too and wants to settle with you... Nwanne jiri kwa ya nwayor o (sister take it easy) maybe you should just give yourselves some time and evaluate things... And pray about it... I always talk about prayers cause it works wonders. Good luck.

    1. Jayem, if u aint in Nigeria @ d moment, dont u have an idea of what happen here with all these good for nothing schemes? Well, am sorry to disappoint you, NYSC is never a yardstick to measure those who graduate or who actually have an extra year. The last NYSC mobilization exercise was a total flop., awaiting corp members who havent exceeded the youth service stipulated age were given exemption letters due to an avoidable mistake which the scheme decide to overlook. The introduction of the online registration exercise was poorly organized., the scheme forcefully extort 4K from students without any justifiable evidence. Some students faced delay their respective institution mount on them by willingly omitting their names from the mobilised students., i fell into this category. Mind you, i have a wonderful result, all the explanation given to me @ the students affairs unit were not just adding up, so if i were ur sister, will you conclude that i was unable to go for service because i had no result or i had extra year? You have to be in Nigeria to know what happen here Jayem., as far as am concern, the purpose of NYSC has being lost long time ago. As far as i look forward to going for service, i will vote one million times for the good for nothing scheme to be scrapped. Its just a total waste of time, especially now that most coy employment age limit falls below 25yrs with NYSC discharge certificate.
Am so pissed this morning. I wish i dont have to hide under the shades of anonymous in replying Jayem, i hope soon enough, i will get a blog id. Good day Jayem!!!

Some nonentities might want to create unnecessary unrest after the elections...so keeping corpers safe and away from roads should be the priority.

  19. Since dis Yoruba man became the DG of NYSC, he's been making stupid changes... Prospective corps member to pay 4k for thr call-up letter and now, its only 2 batches! They want to divert the allowance for batch C into thr pockets because their allocation has been approved and the money for batches A,B and C approved!
Now they cudnt even come up with tangible reason 4 cancelling batch C! Ole buruku's
