 Stella i hope my mail  meets you in good faith please i need help i dont want to bore you with long story but the bottom line is that the devil is trying to come between what GOD  has given me (the job i got in January) after 3 years of searching, please help me .

CONFUSED AND AT A CROSSROAD POSTER WRITES BACK

 I want to say a very big thank you to you Stella and my fellow BV'S. I was the one that sent that chronicle of my abusive ex and my overseas guy. Thank u all for your advice, but some of u BV'S can be harsh with words sha. I had to send my chronicle to Stella cos I had no one to talk to, I am so relieved now that I have voiced out everything that happened. Some of your comments made me cry and I av realized how stupid I was for considering going back to my ex and I think the main reason why I loved him so much is cos he was my first bf.

   Well I have now decided to concentrate on my new guy, I think he is God sent to me. I will never go back to my ex again! Infact I have deleted his number and blocked him on all my social network. I will wait for my new boo and remain faithful till he comes. Thank you all.

Stella the heat in Abuja is killing and I live in one of these suburbs with my family members in a single room apartment and the way they build houses there are so clustered that one can hardly get in fresh air then coupled with the fact that one doesn't have a fan. Abeg na fan I need. A working standing or table fan as I cant presently afford one. Please anyone that has a spare one before heat roast us or maybe one with little fault that I could try to fix myself. The heat has been unfriendly to us upwards two months now.     In alaba international market electrial section,a chinese importer and his colleaques rented a shop in the market bringing so many things and even selling direct to customers the same thing other Nigerians bought from china and have for sale in the market .As indigenes, they will always get it cheaper and sell cheaper too, but my question is ....is it proper they manufacture in their country and at the same time sell in our local market?  . I want our government to look into this and tell us what they think and my fellow bvs too.

RE-ALMOST MARRIED MY FATHER POSTER WRITES IN

Afternoon Stella,

I just read your post of yesterday IHN an hour ago, calling me to resend my message. Couldn't because I use my colleagues phone to send in this message. My torchlight can not. Well I'm writing my story, the way I told it to a radio call-in program dealing with life issues on wednesday.

Gossips had it that, my mother had me, while still in school of nursing. Growing up I had severally been told that my dad is dead, shortly after my birth. I lived with my mom and her husband, my stepfather and his son, my stepbrother in PH. In that house, my stepbrother and his cousins (whenever they come for holidays) did constantly molested me from age 12. I remember complaining to my mom and stepfather that, I don't like the way my stepbrother and his cousins plays and touch me. They waved it off, rather encourage me to tolerate them, that the boys are all I have as siblings. And that boy plays rough. At 13 the rape started from home(it eventually lead to the dissolution of my mums marriage). We squated with four different family friends. The rape continued and whenever I alerted mom, we moved on to the next family friend. At 18 I became pregnant and she sent me to her parents in Lagos. While she travelled to the UK.

At 20, I got admission, lost my grand pa. 15 months later grand ma was retired from the civil service. Relocated home to Jos with my daughter. I stayed back, I was already on my I.T. And writing my ND project.

 I met this man, my boss, helped me out with my project. We got involved and started out. Helping out one way or the other. He became my rock.

He had lost his wife years ago. From Imo, had two teenage sons both in Ukraine studying medicine. Lonely and in need of companionship. I ticked all his boxes. A year on, we'd grown, matured, the discreet had become open and marriage was in view. I had taken him home and  everyone had given their consent, including my mom. Who initially objected due to the age difference. I was 24yrs, he 45yrs. But gave in after having had a talk with us, and getting to know I was pregnant. Insisted we wait till she comes in, a few weeks time. Fair enough I must confess, I loved him like I can't explain. He does also, cared, pampered, oh the love was true and real. We connected like kindred spirit. If that was love then it is sweet. Ofcourse we argued and disagreed, in the end his exprience and opinion, so often comes good.

Then the dilema began: mom was back in the country her first since grand pa died. I was now 5weeks and 2days pregnant. He was away at abuja on assignment, and was to join us in Jos for a formal introduction with a friend and two members of his family. That was it! Mom fainted and he looked at me, shook his head and walked away. I was left in the middle Stella, well seated on the fence, naive, ignorant, confused and lost. Lost for reasons, lost for words. Did I miss the message? Yes, I did.

It later dawned on me that, I had met, dated, loved, slept, pregnant for and almost married my purportedly dead father. Suicide failed me, I rescued, taken to the hospital. And thank God, lost the pregnancy. My granny never survived it, neither did my mom. Couldn't come back to Lagos, didn't wish to. Took my daughter ran away to Benue 7 to 8yrs ago. I communicated with him for a while but we couldn't stand each other. The feeling, passion and pain. It was better we ended it and fate prevailed.

I'm struggling to survive, fending for myself and daughter. Sending her to school. Sustenance on my #8,000 salary is dwindling. I was at a brothel the other day to negotiate for a slot, when a friend saw me. Talked me out of it, invited me to her church and gave me your blog address to write in for help.

To prostitute? You'd be asking. Ain't I one already?
