''Hi Stella,
I am a daily BV (at least not less than twice a day), who comments when I have anything tangible to say. Most times somebody has already said it.

I'd like to share this short film which I directed with other BVs. It addresses one of the issues we read about a lot in the "CHRONICLES OF BV NARRATIVES".

I'm sure every BV in a relationship has experienced it. I have been wanting to send it for a long time.  I hope everyone can spare some MBs.

I like what you are doing. Keep it up. May God bless you.
Thanks.
Ed Irabor

Oh wow,Ed i watched this to the very end and had goose bumps all over......Look at how he snooped and got blinded by what he saw?LMAO!
What if the name part had cut out?
See how the little things we think do not matter are the little strings that hold a marriage together?wow!!
Thank you for blessing us with this short movie.
Blog visitors please make you watch this........Borrow someones phone or laptop!

    2. Hi Ed, thanks for this blessing. Not that I am in this situation. The film itself is a blessing to me. And for that I shall critique this one. Relax jor nothing serious. Around 7min, there are 2pacing changes that could have worked better if it was a bit mor subtle or had a fade to it. At 13min and in one other place, the color grade didn't match up properly from shot to shot. And this is me being stupid picky o cos I bet no one else noticed it. I am taking a course called "train your eyes" so this is my homework.

The last office scene, there was one weird pan and tilt move and I am like Ed saw that move somewhere and just wanted to replicate it. Am I right? Didn't work for me so much but I appreciate that you wanted some variety in the establishing shots.

All in all I love the grade o. It had some bleach bypass that was subtle in places and pronounced where required. The scene with the pastor, on the wide shots were a little soft but I guess that's cos you were wide open there.

Great work all in all. Composition, the grade, the music (tell me your source o) the edit, story. Pat yourself on the back. This was 17:36 I think, what's the difference between 17:36 and 1:30.00, not much o. Get a feature done immediately. As a gift to your for this. Hehehheheheheh. #TheCinematographer.

    3. @Anonymous: Hian! U r using 'film speak' to dazzle us commoners abi?

Ed - I thought you had a good storyline. I saw a well panned out film. Unlike Anonymous, I have not yet undertaken the 'train your eyes' homework so I did not see all the bleach bypass, pan and tilt et al. I suppose I need to register for that course sharp sharp.... Anonymous - torchlight me now? LOL!!

  12. When he found out d letter was from him probably years ago when they were still making Nite calls, he became weak. In my mind I was like woman, time to do shakara. Pastor's wife now adviced her she has work to do as well. Meaning kini? When the man was clearly in the wrong here. Anyway I love the movie. I learnt something sha that when you see something very incriminating about ur spouse, no matter how bad it might look, wait for an explanation cos it might just turn out to be something else entirely. When she ran out of the house, wat if that car hit her n she died on the spot, the man would have ruined his family cos of jealousy. Those questions will be answered by married brethren here...

  14. For me, couselling doesnt work in marriage relationships, if a man knows a woman is desperate to marry,he marries d lady n den his true colour comes out(desperados take note). D woman starts to complain n nagging starts. One tin is for sure, yl dating a lady/guy pls and pls watever u know u cant tolerate during courtship, walk away dnt hide under d canopy of 'he is caring, romantic, loving' mentality. I bet u, dier r a thousand pple out deir who are enjoying dier marriages though dey have iss buh wat dey can handle. Remember love looks beyond d physical, you have to accept the persin at his/her worse n if you cant, walk away, yes i said so walk away. forget wat society will say, forget wat d church will say, forget dat mentality of 'its becoz of my children' iss. For me, alot of marriages of ds generation will take pple to hell. Its better to remain single n make heaven dan bin married n go to hell, diers more to life than dis earthly achievements.

  25. wow..already have blurred visions from my ducts failing me before the movie ended cos evry part just gave me flash backs wen i and my ex used to be besties..i must say, just like the bible defined love, it has to b patient and kind..this is key n very vital in evry relationship esp marriage.maturity too must take play. love is a beautiful thing and thus we should learn to weigh each others goods over d bads. if only i knew wot i know now im sure i would have handled some issues a lil differently.like our beloved Chaz B would say, guard ur hearts wit all diligence cos out if it flows the issues of love.
