Maltreatment Of MTN Staff - Chapter 2

Please if you work at MTN Head office, please forward this to the powers that be....working should be done in an atmosphere where everyone is content.....
If there are complaints,it should be looked into and not be allowed to get on the social media!

Hello Stella,
About two weeks ago you published information about the maltreatment of MTN Staff who are contracted under CNSSL.

Since the post there have been some changes in the work schedule which we appreciate, but the major issues arising are yet to be met, such as our women in Maternity who will not be paid.

We are made to understand that this non-payment of women in maternity is only in Mayfair and Ilorin call center alone.

Other centres get their dues and HMO.

Secondly in order for them to cover their laundries memo are been sent stating leave allowance will not be paid because we are not entitled to it.

Attached to this is a post which we will be more than grateful if you can publish on your blog, spreading the information to fellow Nigerians on the harsh matter we been treated at CNSSL Mayfair Contact Center.

thank you.

    5. Oga anon 13:29, it is true that the relationship between an employer and employee is defined by the contract of employment such that any party cannot lay claims to what is outside the contract of employment. It is also an established common law principle that any item of the contract that goes contrary to the law of the land or infringes the fundamental human right of the employee remains void. Pls check section 53 to 55 of the labour act which clearly protects the right of women at work. It was clearly stated that every woman( irrespective of her status of employment or marital status) is entitled to 6 weeks leave before and 6 weeks after confinement. I wonder why people cannot ask for lawyers help in the interpretation of contract of employment and claims for remedies if unfairly treated rather than run to bloggers to on smear campaigns. You guys should contribute money, get a lawyer and sue their asses. You don't need a SAN to win this one.

It's even written in the employment letter what they are entitled to and in my company maternity leave for contract or no contract is 3 months.
You are really bitter aswear because if you are not you won't ask for someone who is going miles to get her right to be sacked. People way dey house and street never see job and u want the population to increase by one, Oga or madam whichever you are please be guided.

Only people who comment with their real name are not anonymous. Every body else is anonymous as long as they don't comment with their real names. That is why they can keep changing and switching blog id's whenever they want, because they are all anonymous, so just STFU dumbo.

  8. why are you bothered if anonymous can comment today and you won't know if it's the same person tomorrow and neither can you view profiles. how does it affect your life. how much does every anonymous comment put in your pocket or bank account.
you are one of the jobless fools that sleeps and wakes up on blogs that is why it bothers and pains you so much.
get a life because nobody will pay you for scratching your body over anonymous comments, you will just run mad. if they don't want people to comment as anonymous the option will not be made available, it is an option for a reason so STHU...

  9. Mtn should look into this complaint. Contract staff or not they should be duly rewarded, after all these staff are making money for them.

    ReplyDelete
  10. This is commonly practised in several organisations, even in the banking sectors. Contract staff are excempted from virtually everything: pay during maternity, leave allowance, HMO etc... The take home pay is the only benefit contract staff get after working their ass off as though they are not human beings.... God bless Nigeria.. :(
