MONKEYS HAVE INVADED MAGODO ESTATE

I live in Magodo Phase 2 (also known as Magodo Shangisha).

Generally, it's a serene and secure estate.

I got home this evening only to be told that a monkey entered our kitchen TWICE yesterday afternoon.

My nanny saw it first eating a banana and the monkey ran out through the burglary proof, only for my sister to see it again in the kitchen. She said they had opened the window for air and that when she chased it, the monkey left the kitchen and sat on the back corridor railings staring  back at them. And it sat there for sometime.

I'm still in shock about it cos my kids were home too and anything could have happened.

I've quickly called my windows guy to come and fix the window locks today as i don't feel safe.

What of if it comes back while we are sleeping?

Thank God Nigeria is Ebola free but the risks they carry is too much, plus my kids are home on school break.

Then I decided to find out from my neighbor at her store whether she noticed anything.

I got a shocker that it's not a new thing.

Monkeys have been everywhere for about 5 months now.

My neighbor said they came to her corridor this afternoon.

Another person said he has been setting traps for them and has killed 2 so far.

He said a big monkey was caught in a trap cage recently.

Where do the monkeys come from?

They suspect that they come from the forest between Magodo Brooks and Magodo Shangisha.

Another neighbor said that they come to their kitchen regularly and eat their bread.

Hm! Stella, my ears are full from hearing different people's story.

I seem to be the only one who was finding out about the monkey invasion for the first time.

I have been living in this estate for 6 yrs now and I've never see this before.

I'm just weak.

Something has got to be done about this.

With all the things on my plate, this is the last thing I need now.

Thank you Stella and BVs for your advice, kind words and encouragement, i just summoned up the courage to do another home test with the help of a certified pharmacist. Turns out the lord has smiled on me and I'm expecting my patter of tiny feet!!! i am so excited! for those BVs that cursed me out and to the particular BV that called me an attention seeker i hope you or someone close to you doesn't have to go through the long process of TTC, if you know the number of tests with negative results I've endured coupled with the alarming rate of fertility issues i hear about you would understand my fears and the reason i had to write to Stella. my advice to BVs is that we should mind the way we cuss people out, to some of us SDK blog fam are the only friends we have to talk to when we have some pressing issues before you cuss someone to the point of suicide. In a few months I'll come back with the news of the arrival of my little angel.

Thanks for bringing my attention to the call out in regards to the giveaway.  My sincere apologies to you and everyone that feels disrespected. When I put up the giveaway, I did not know it was going to be like this. The man I put up his number is not on my payroll, he only helps me out in Lagos and I should not have put his number up like that. 

According to him, the inflow of calls he received that day were too much and it affected his own business for that day, he was not happy with me and I should not have put him in that position. I had to tell him not to worry about it that I was going to handle it, but i have honestly been so busy as the summer semester is coming to an end so everything is due at the same time plus exams.
