MENSTRUAL FLOW FOR THREE WEEKS NOW
Hello family of sdk blog. I am a lady of 25years old. For about 3weeks now I have been seeing my period. At times its heavy, at times its light but I don't feel any pains.
I have done a full pelvic scan and the doctors said there are no abnormalities. Prior to this I took Postinor to about 2weeks before my period. The doctor said maybe it's the contraceptive that is the cause and That I should not be worried.
Please doctors in the house and fellow bvs has anyone experienced this? If so how did you go about it? Thanks in anticipation of a response.

Eku ise o. Keep drinking postinor like you are drinking water. Until you are ready to have kids and all your hormones are all over the place and you have PCOS etc.

DeleteYetinde says it happened to a close friend a while back,I fink its overdose usage of contraceptive mostly progesterone inhibiting which leads to hormonal disorder,a bit of physiology there,you'll be fine,stay off contraceptive for a while,beg nigga to use condoms pls,she rectified hers wiv primolut but I fink u shld talk to a gynae first,it happens.morning stella & sdkers,blessed week ahead.
ReplyDeleteThe most Iv experienced is having my period twice in one month, that has happened twice to me now. I really don't know much about this 3wk period. Pls google it, nothing you won't find on google. I know postinor may sometimes bring ur period earlier than regular date, but nothin else I am aware of. Since d doc said ur ok medically, just do sum research on google yourself.

DeleteNot to worry darling. It will settle in its own time. I had seen my periods in a particular month then I had sex and d condom removed inside me with his cum. I took postinor 2 and after I finished the prescription, I saw my periods again. I had my periods twice that month. I was scared but its since last year. And nothing happened the following month. Since then, my periods have been steady and I didn't use any medicine to make it steady.

ReplyDeleteI will advise you see a gynae who would suggest you go for hormonal profile test so they would know how to treat you.
I would advice u do ur test in Mecure if you r in. Lagos so u can wait to ur result than all Ds labs dt would take weeks.
Also take blood tonic for the time being so you don't get anemia cos ur at serious risk of that.
My dear if u don't have much visit a government hospital which ironically would get u d best gynae.
Sweetheart don't waste time oo. Many pple with PCOS today na so e take start.

People just play with their lives. Before u landed to postinor 2, I knew that was the cause. My sister used it as a contraceptive and saw her period for like 6 months. She even considered pregnancy sef. It is not a contraceptive. It is only a morning after pill. Use a condom or abstain totally or do raw and face the consequences. The postinor 2 is the issue. Wait it out till it decides to stop. Sorry. If u like go and drink it again as a contraceptive. Those doctors sef no no book. Mcheew!

ReplyDeleteYou will be fine poster.. its the effect of the Postinor 2, it happened to me before.. Look for a drug called Primolut-N it will stop the bleeding and regulate your period back to its normal cycle.

u need to go for scan .. it happen to me mine is almost amonth ... i took that drugs and i never new am already pregnant so i went for scan and they told me that i attent abortion that my sac is licking that why am bleeding so i took the scan result to a doctor i ask him if their is a way to save the baby he said he gave me injection vitmine k or so i cant remember but it did not stop it cos they said that i have already lost blood that the one remaining cant form a baby again

DeleteThis type of bleeding could be as a result of miscarriage. U eventually got pregnant but postinor did nt allow it stay due to d fact dat it softens d endometrium.pls see a gyno for complete evacuation of conception membranes otherwise infection will occur. Bleeding may stop on its own but u still need to wash ur womb. Primolut n is just like taking care of symptom but nt d illness itself. Until d membranes are Off u re nt ok. Experince tho. God guide us in our slippery parts of youth. No judging tho

Took it few hour after sex and 2 weeks later I started developing serious abdominal pains thinking it's my period on the way. Another 2weeks no period ran to my HMO to complain that my period stopped because I used postinor meanwhile I spot here and there. Doctor advice to do a pregnancy test and lo and behold it came out as positive, I was shocked and look like a full. I could nt say a word. Ever since I have lost my faith in postinor 2
