High School Football Player Dies After Breaking His Neck During A Game

CNN reports that A high school football player in Louisiana died on Friday after being hit during a game .

Tyrell Cameron, a 16-year-old student at Franklin Parish High School in

Winnsboro, LA, was hit during a punt return in the fourth quarter of a game against a local team. He died after being transported to Franklin Medical Center, a coroner’s office spokesman said.

As CNN points out, the cause of death is still being investigated. However, local news station KNOE reported that Cameron broke his neck.
