Chronicles Of HOPE -36

''Hey Child,I will never let you down''......Says GOD!

PREGNANT AT LAST!!!

Darling Stella, kindly post. I promised God I would share‎ this testimony when he answers my prayers. Been married for about 11months now, I'm 27 and hubby is 32. We have ttc'ed since then, to no avail. I have done hormonal tests, ultrasound scans, etc. Hubby had Sperm Analysis done, and everything was perfect. I even took Clomid on two occasions without success.

So I was understandably devastated. I cringed in pain whenever I saw pregnant women or little babies. All my friends that got married around same time with me or after me were pregnant. Some friends were even on Baby number 2. I was broken and felt that God had abandoned me. How wrong I was.

I must mention that I have the  best hubby in the entire world. He's been so supportive, wiping my tears whenever my monthly period showed up‎, encouraging me with prayers and reminding me of God's  unfailing promises. This helped me retain my sanity. We always prayed together, including a 21day midnight prayer in the month of January.

So immediately after my period on the 30th of January, I had an HSG test done. (this is to determine if the fallopian tubes are blocked. Sometimes, the test can help unclog  some gunk in the tubes and make conception easier).

Well as the Almighty would have it, ‎I missed my period which was supposed to start on February 21st. ‎I cramped as usual and felt all the signs of an impending period, but it never came! I summoned courage and took a urine PT this morning and saw 2 pink lines! I'm pregnant! I js broke down in d bathroom, cried my eyes out, praising the Faithful God. He is faithful, even in my unfaithfulness.

I'm so excited!

I want to use myself as a point of contact to all couples trying to conceive, God is still God and His promises stand firm forever.
For the ttc women on this blog, Yemi7up, Default Smile and all others, 2016 is your year of extra fruitfulness.

In all you do, please don't stop praying, and take your medicals seriously. God bless us all.

Bless God

    2. I totally agree. It's just 11months for heavens sakes. I don't know y people keep rushing to get pregnant after getting married. isn't it better to wait like a year to enjoy your marriage and have your husband to yourself? Cos when the kids come in you guys won't have that again. Well congrats.

      Delete
    3. It their choice to wait or not. Until you are there, you may never understand. Just be happy for her. Say thank you Jesus from the bottom of your heart for her. Its not that hard na

    6. People just like to worry when there isnt any need to. 11 months and you were already crying at the start of every menstrual cycle? So you started crying a month after your wedding. Smh. See how you were putting thoughts into your husband's head. If you had waited a few more months and he took the cue from you and started worrying and disturbing you,you wudda send us chronicles and we start cussing him out. Why cant you enjoy your marriage and have your alone time before kids start to come. Shag your hubby for fun then if pregnancy comes, great! I can imagine how boring you have made sex for your hubby become with these preggo thoughts. You prolly only shag him for concieving sake. When he finds a spontaneous side chic now, you'll send chronicles. Congrats though.

  15. Stella, sometime in May or was it June last year, one of your testimony posts, I announced I was preggy after 8 months of marriage, yes, 8! ... and couldn't wait to know my babies' sex and see their faces. Well, the boys arrived 20th Feb. Stella, God made me a mom of two sweet boys in a day!... how can I repay the Lord for His goodness to me??...
For people asking the poster "11 months?"... I cannot blame you! Those 8 months felt like 8 years. We all know what we want and when it's not forthcoming, we worry as humans, wondering if our story is going to be like those of 10/15 years without the fruit. It is her testimony, and I rejoice with her.
My boys give me joy even in my dreams. They have blessed my life. My husby has found brothers in them as he is the only son. May we never lack what to train you with. Amen!... congratulations, poster!

  25. My own testimony isn't about children. It's career related and I am very grateful to God. I have been working for a company who doesn't value me at all, in fact, I have suffered in that place. I wasn't paid constantly. In fact last year I was owed from September to December until when I was finally paid part not all o. I was promised the rest before I resume in January but until date am still owed part of it. I prayed and prayed, applied for many jobs, went for several interviews and nothing positive coming out of it. I always felt like crying each time but I just held on to God. My friends, last two weeks, I got an offer from an oil servicing company in Port Harcourt. I never applied for this job, it was just the doing of the Holy Spirit. I wanted to turn down the offer coz I live in Lagos. Something told me to take up the offer and ask details, hmm, people the offer is marvellous, the salary is more than double my current salary, almost tripple with many bonuses and guess what, it's the exact position I have in this firm in lagos, only that it's a bit more tasking but it doesn't even matter, I trust God am capable. By months end when I get to PH I will send in my Chronicles of hope for everyone to read. God is faithful
