Keke Driver 'Bruises' Car And 'Pays' For It

This happened yesterday at Area 1 shopping complex Abuja, a Keke rider was severely beaten by four occupants of the red 206 Peugeot, for scratching their car and not saying sorry on time.

The fight almost deteriorated into a free for all tribe-related fight (the Keke
Rider is Hausa, the 4boys igbo) save for the intervention of the police (who actually had a tough time quelling the fiasco) . Two people where arrested for attempting to vandalise the car.

    2. The most painful aspect of it is, if they discover that the car is being driven by a woman that's when they will form.macho and won't say sorry.

    2. Hausas can be very arrogant. They have little or no manners. Ive stayed with them and still mix with them so I know what I'm saying. Their arrogance can be very disgusting as you can even see that they are not achieved and need help. Only the very rich ones have manners and that's because they are exposed to different cultures, peoples, and life as well

    3. The hausas need education and more enlightenment. That's it. They seem to be the ones dragging the nation back. Sorry to say but TRUE

  9. I don't endorse street fights and jungle justice but the way these people behave on the road is heartbreaking,
They run into you and still abuse you. Ofcourse when people gather they sympathise with the one they feel is "disadvantaged" or "poor".

It is crazy! They bully other road users.

  10. I really dont know the difference between these keke drivers and okada. It annoyse greatly how they squeeze between cars no matter how small the space is they'd never relent. They leave cars with scratches and bruises and when you start shouting they will say you are shouting because of a small scratch on your car. That was how a bus driver bashed my car and the people around told him to run and he drove off. At that moment i really wished I had supernatural powers I'd have twisted his neck as he was running.

  12. Why do the "rich" like oppressing the poor in Africa?
    Gosh how I hate violence.

    Replies
    1. What oppressing are you talking about?? This Keke drivers and Okada men drive anyhow on the road, bash your car and expect you to not talk. Why shouldn't one talk?? When he was clearly leaving his Lane and driving rough on the road..

Please they better hold that Keke man to pay because when you bash them you won't leave without paying..

One saw learner O few months ago and still decided to leave his Lane for my Lane. In trying to dodge a pot hole and maintening my Lane I bashed him and his windscreen broke. That was how he talked and talked talked. First he was at fault, secondly he saw learner on my car. I refused to pay. He was very lucky that my husband at that moment was driving by and stopped. That's how he started talking about all his family problems and my hubby told him he will pay half since he was at fault just to support him..

So please if Keke spoils you car, catch him and make him pay.

  13. Keke riders are becoming another menace after okada riders. They bruise people's car wih reckless abandon in their bid to meander and find their way. It's good he was beaten very well so that next time,he will learn to apologise quickly for his wrongs.

  14. Good for the Keke, I thought we will have related peace after okada ban only to realise keke is not even better than Okada. In lagos yesterday, One keke jammed my card head on collision after he could not overtake a car and begin to wonder what type madness was that

  24. why must everything degenerate to a talk about tribe? keke drivers, okada riders and danfo drivers can test anyone's patience regardless of their tribe. hausa, yoruba, igbo, delta etc. all of them are one and the same. they are all animals. they behave like they have gone crazy and should be institutionalized. i don't blame the guys who beat them up.

  25. Hate is a strong word but I hate all Okada and Keke drivers. I can't stand them at all. Reckless people.
