My source informs me that the Head of department has been fuming and they have caught a suspect who might soon be suspended or Rusticated...My Male source informs me that the suspect is female!
I am wondering why someone should be Rusticated or suspended for something that they didnt do.
And i am wondering why anyone should be punished at all instead of looking inward to clean up this dirt in the photo.
I do not know who the supposed culprit they have allegedly caught is but Madam if they Rusticate or suspend you,please send me an email and we will cry out until this gets to the attention of all Bodies concerned including the senate.

As for Uniben Optometry students that read this Blog,it is a pity that you all could not stand and defend your course mate being crucified albeit that the wrong person is being accused......
I saw all your comments defending this dirty surrounding in the last post and i shake my head in disgust!
If a lecturer who harrasses students for s3x (oh they are plenty in Uniben)is not sacked or Suspended.Please tell me why anyone should be made to suffer for a crime they didnt commit?
I hear the VC is involved now,let us see how this plays out....

All this comments in here are just for commenting sake, if the university really has taken their decision in rusticating this very student involve there is nothing we can do other than ranting till our throats gets dried. Am not in support of the university not tidying up their learning environment but I guess since dis student has already gotten to 500l why didn't he/she just concentrate on why he/she was sent in there and mind his/her own business other than snapping pix like dis or should ve kept sure pix when she has graduated sure pix can be brought out .like me have got my own story to share to Stella but loading..... so I can't be caught anywhere. I just pray they would do anything to the person involve.

ReplyDeleteMy former school don dey fuck up abeg, i can still remember the bad state of social sciences twin lt b4 i graduated, the chairs were really bad, the roofs were leaking and it was always messy when it rains.
I just hope this is an empty threat, cuz as uniben lecturers wd say, 'you were given provisional admission, the school can withdraw it whenever, it pleases!

ReplyDeleteRubbish and nonsense! They should bury their heads in shame for even suggesting rustication! As if they they 'the lectures' studied under such dilapidated environment! They just want to victimise an innocent student while they keep sharing monies marked for renovations.

They want to rusticate the student because why? Nigerians have to learn to own up to their responsibilities instead of passing blame, the girl called the uni out and now they want to rusticate her. ReplyDeleteThe HOD should be investigated. The Dean of Faculty should be investigated. The VC should be investigated.
They should be made to account for all financial allocations to the department which has been diverted for the wrong ends.
I pity the student involved, because even if she won't be rusticated, the wicked lecturers might frustrate her til she leaves the school herself.

ReplyDeleteOptometry dept has been known to have lecturers who are sadist, so I am not surprised especially the female lecturer. Infact life sciences lecturers are evil.
