What got me at first was "he apologised and we carried......" How? Now lemme enlightened you on issues relating the fool that you intend going back to. He is a cursed 29years old man who feels he can try rubbish with women because of all he got away with while in the relationship with you.when he broke up with you the last time, we got married and 3 months into our marriage he tried to raise his filthy hands on me coz he felt the pretense was over and he had ample time to show his true nature. For the first time in my life I attempted fighting and hit him back badly and we were in a mini pool of his blood. Then I went to make a report at the police station. He begged and begged but till this moment I never turned listening ears to the plea but rather insisted on desolving the traditional marriage we had done not taking into consideration the monies, time and effort my parents put in to give their first daughter a royal marriage. (No regrets at all). When you got back into his life, you joined him in sending insulting messages to me and my family but I only knew your case would turn out worse because he had no regard for you. I have longed moved on nicely being a positive person and I bet you the world is a sweet place when you say no to people that treat you less than expected. My advice to you is to feel happy that you have been set free from the devils nest and start a beautiful life again. Always be alert to know when a man truly loves you and when he doesn't. You are older than him as he told me so getting a man of ur age or older will save you the insult he dishes out to his friends and the next female victim.Never join a man/boyfriend in fighting the ex just to gain his love as he will never see such action as respected at the long run. Lastly, stay hapoy while single coz if you do you will never be afraid of starting all over when faced with such relationship challenges. May God guide you in making wiser and well informed choices.

From there it became a daily thing. money is not enough for soup kpagm nepa people said if we dont pay the bill they will cut the light gboh I need want to buy girl new sgoes kpom gboh with time i got used to it with time we had welcomed our 6th child and time was not kimd my once figure 8 body had become figure 1 and my old clothes were barely enough to cover my battered body but i was married and that was that some day i would please my husband and he would stop beaten me mid 90s my mother in law told me that i was going to welcome his second wife I wanted to die I began to beg him to forgive me anything i had ever done and that i will be a good wife but for where she moved into our three bedroom house I became pregnant again and so she did the only difference was I was still his punch bag but she was his jewel one day after my delivery the neighbours came to tell me there was water in the neighbourhood while we were preparing to go and fetch he came in amd said all i do is feed my friends with his food he beat me enh until I fainted and was rushed to the hospital. i had been rushed before but tgat day my skull had been cracked when he used the grinding stick to hit my head from the hospital I didn't go back. I packed to a 1 room with my children and started part time school and training my children by myself. I found the strength to leave him with a bigger burden than before i married him and i never looked back any time i feel weak i just look at that 3 inches round scar on my forehead and i find the strength to keep going. i am in tears writing this but if it can help you find the courage to keep going then i will write it

I think she needs to change her phone number and communicate the new number to only those that matter. Also, she needs to pray for the grace to forgive. Unforgiveness gives your aggressor more power and control over you. No one should be given the power to control your emotions or your life.
She needs to take some time out to mourn her lost years, seek forgiveness from God, and study the Word of God to rediscover her faith. She could also find a trusted confidante to confide in for encouragement. But pls don't go about telling your story to every Tom, Dick and Harry. Lastly, pick up yourself and find work for your hands to do, no matter how little the pay may be.

However, the nature of victims of domestic violence is to live in hope of "change will come". Abuser's first intention is to condition or groom an identified victim to their way of thinking, alienate victim from source of support then strip the victim of all self worth and confidence. Please which ever way we read this girl message let us try to empower her to learn from the mistake and move on.
