ReplyDeleteWell am sure they encouraged her with all that so that she will do better.
I dont think its sad. Different people reavt differently, am sire the dad knows that such will encourage her to do better next time
Come back home with 2nd position in my house, my mum will use mouth and finish you. You can't even play or eat in peace.
Delete3rd position? That one na cain get you be that. All parents claim first position in there class, I wonder who now comprise ndi itiboribo back then.
Is good new naaaaaa
DeletePls keep it up n don't ever give up.....na so great tin dey start.
But what kind of school will have up to 50 students in a class bikonu. How will d teacher have a personal relationship with each child? Abi this is an overall mark/position in a grade. Anyways, the parents should keep on encouraging her. what matters is the score/grade a child has in a particular subject than the postion.
DeleteLmaooooooo!!!!!
DeleteHahahaha, short of words on what to say.
ReplyDeleteLolzz, it shows improvement.
ReplyDeleteE get as person result go take bad, the teacher go fear gv am or the parents no go even bother ask am.
They'll be like: Una dun close?
Yes o, we aff closed.
Parents:No wahala o, weldone.
Lmao.. U no well. Hahaha
DeleteLol...only in Ghana.
ReplyDeleteShe better improve more better than before so that more party will be celebrated for her. 48 is still poor
ReplyDeleteHunnay, your English is poorer!
DeleteOh bitch please spare me that bullshit. You ain't got no right to correct my English. Oh I can see, your far more better than me right? Go say that to someone else asshole
DeleteShut it Jackass. Your English is an apology!!!
DeleteHehhe..... more better.
DeleteNa wa o
OKay,this is just plain stupid. Celebrating mediocrity. Unless the girl has some challenges eg down syndrome,I won't just understand or approve such.
ReplyDeleteWhat made it plain stupid, if you have nothing good to say why don't you shush
DeleteTry to understand the rationale behind the party. It's called positive motivation unlike some african parents that will beat shege out of you.
DeleteFierce, please read Ben Carson biography then you will understand that hope is not lost.
DeleteI'm sorry,I was insensitive.
DeleteAww Fierce. Chop hug jor.
DeleteLol.
ReplyDeleteEeya
ReplyDeleteMake my mama first hear say you carry 3rd for class...chei!!! You will tell her if the person who got first has two heads. Mama d mama(hands up Beyonce's style)
ReplyDeleteMy dad will now bring out all his result and display them showing you he never got anything aide first position. How he managed to keep all his result intact still baffles me.. My mum will not make so much noise. I'm sure she wasn't among the first to third as she no dey brag like my father.
DeleteThat's how they will seize somebody's Sega game because we came third not first. Very strict sombori
Lol...naija parents tho,
DeleteEnd Time Child
ReplyDeleteLMAO. Before she go enter university she go don improve die as F9 is for somebody after all.
ReplyDeleteWell there is room for improvement, maybe the party was to encourage her to do better
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Just remembered something like this that happened to my former neighbour. The son was very happy that he carried 28 out of 39th position while the brother carried 1st position. He told the mum that the brother does not know anything. That look at him 28 out of 38. The mother said shut up, olodo pikin.
ReplyDeleteThis is funny. She should enjoy. at all at all nai bad
This action will encourage her to do better. She's not a failure. Not every child is brilliant academically. They only need to help me identify her strength. Nigerian parent will abuse your life till you feel like comiiting suicide. I'll pray for this child.

ReplyDeletehahahahahahahahaah so i just tot bout my father after reading this. i remember the beating i "chopped" when i was in primary four for taking the eleventh position out of forty five. kai! i will never forget that day.that beating will forever remain green.
ReplyDeleteKikikikikikiki
ReplyDeleteLol there is still a chance for improvement...
ReplyDeleteThat's their own form of motivation- celebrating little little success made. With time, she becomes the very best.
ReplyDeleteAwwww how sweet and a nice to encourage someone
ReplyDeleteLol. She tried nau. She passed two people
ReplyDeleteLols, Encouragement that what matter
ReplyDeleteLol. I can imagine. This would boost her morale into studying harder to excel in her exams. Thumbs up to her parents.
ReplyDeleteI trust Nigerian parents. Hi five to them. Na only Nigerian parents no dey fail wen dem dey sch,so tell me ow u wan fail,na who u resemble,u go explain
ReplyDeleteYou must resemble somebody.
DeleteIn my house when you come ate the first position in your class you resemble my dad. Anything outside that is my mom. Na so my papa dey talk
She try o.
ReplyDeleteTo carry first from back no be good thing.
At least this time, someone else got the title.
It's not sad atall although the parents may be traders but wiser than d person that called this story sad, what they used is a good motivational skill which will revive their baby memory for a better assessment.
ReplyDeletebefore you know it she will be 30th then 15th, 7th, 4th and then 1st position. then win a scholarship to Yale and at her graduation as best student she will tell her story of how she used to come last persistently... Thanks be to God the giver of great testimonies
ReplyDeletelol..bittersweet. At least there's hope.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing sad about this Stella. This is progress. Schools need to move away from traditional ways of comparing students to each other; the only person an individual should be compared to is to themselves; we must make progress with respect to our former selves. The parents should keep celebrating this child; the effort made, the little milestones achieved. This child WILL end up a big success. Positions in class and raw scores on standard tests do not determine how successful an individual will be; it is personal qualities, character, and the right application of skills and talent that do.
ReplyDeleteLol....
ReplyDeleteIs just for her to do better
ReplyDeleteHappybirthday blog Mama wishing you d verybest in life.u no organize party?
ReplyDeleteThis reminded me of when i tôok 10th in a class of 104 in jss1. While i was still hiding from ma dad ma younger bro in pry 4 came in with his result 1st out of 16 n showed ma dad.seeing what d future had 4 me, I had to lie that i 4got ma result in school
ReplyDeleteTooorr 104 in a class?? Lol
DeleteIf she can deal with failure well, she will celebrate success with ease. A lesson to learn
ReplyDeleteIt is good to be grateful for little things... Nice one from the parents.
ReplyDeleteOur worth is valued by being above another!
ReplyDeleteCaring parents. They just wanna encourage and motivate her, it isn't sad, is intelligent and motivating
