DeleteO God, Our Help in Ages Past
Delete1. O God, our help in ages past,
our hope for years to come,
our shelter from the stormy blast,
and our eternal home.
2. Under the shadow of thy throne,
still may we dwell secure;
sufficient is thine arm alone,
and our defense is sure.
3. Before the hills in order stood,
or earth received her frame,
from everlasting, thou art God,
to endless years the same.
4. A thousand ages, in thy sight,
are like an evening gone;
short as the watch that ends the night,
before the rising sun.
5. Time, like an ever rolling stream,
bears all who breathe away;
they fly forgotten, as a dream
dies at the opening day.
6. O God, our help in ages past,
our hope for years to come;
be thou our guide while life shall last,
and our eternal home.
This is lovely and funny too

ReplyDeleteVery funny
Obasanjo, My best Nigerian President.
ReplyDeleteI was saying this in the office last year. Obasanjo is still the best performing president since the 1999 democracy. It's not necessarily a good thing, we have just been very unfortunate to have such leaders. However if we are honest eventhough we don't like him, he's the best so far. God please help us and stop punishing us with bad leaders.
DeleteAs in he's the best since this democratic regime. Call him a criminal if you want but that man made Nigeria come alive again. He made democracy feel like it was a step in the right direction. Since he left all jokers.com.
DeleteNa that yeye Donald duke cause all this one. They wanted to give him him VP under Late Yaradua but his stupid pride didn't let him. He said he wants to contest for president that he can't be a vice to Yaradua. Of course he lost at the initial stage and that was what gave GEJ an edge. Cos he was a 'good boy' from the south and they needed a southerner as VP. From what I heard, Obj knew that someone wasn't gonna live long which was why he was rooting for Don. But he couldn't say it out. GEJ now came and did real good boy style. See no evil, hear no evil, do no evil.
If Don came after Obj ehn and did 8 years Naija would have turned around for good and he will bounce anyone who tries to stand in the way of his ideas. Don no dey take shit.
