      @lagos finest, Wow! Honey, how observant of you! I'm actually impressed. I was wondering why the lady standing next to the bride, who appears to be the maid of honour, assumed that position instead of standing behind the bride to guide the veil. I also thought it awkward that the bride placed her hand on the same lady's shoulder. Being that the entire setting looks "unique", I just ignored my observations until I read your comment. It totally makes sense now.

      Let's assume the bride is blind, it still takes guts to marry such a vertically challenged man. Yeah, she may not be able to see him but she can totally feel him. Wow! His dwarfism is one of the extreme ones, his limbs aren't just disproportionately short, they kinda look deformed at the knees and ankles. Those two Nigerian actors who are "little people" look better. I hear there are over 300 types of dwarfism, imagine that!

      The humbling thing is, we don't get to choose the physique with are born with nor the dominant genes we inherit from our parents. I can't even imagine how coping with dwarfism and all the health challenges, including the stigma will be like. After seeing this, doesn't it seem ridiculous complaining about certain body parts we aren't comfortable with? Suddenly, those knocked knees, small or over sized boobs/bum, broad or tiny shoulders, big tummy, slim/large physique, being too tall or too short, whatever your beef is with your body, seem grossly insignificant. Especially if you remind yourself that it could be you in that picture. You are the whom you are purely by accident of birth. I really find this picture humbling.

      By the way, happy new year my darlings! May 2017 be filled with Joy and laughter, peace, prosperity and every good thing we're looking forward to acquiring, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
