      I av found one more person like me😂
      I am not into make up. Till today,I can't carve my brows. I haven't even tried it for once!
      Ok,let me re-phrase that,I have tried carving my brows once. I did i ended up shaving everything off! The whole hair disappeared!😳
      E shock me!😳

      And this was like 2 weeks to My white Wedding o!😳
      Now let me explain what happened,during my Trad,my aunt-in-law had come in to call me to come greet my New husband and his people as we were chatting away inside my room and didn't hear it was time to come greet The In-Laws. Lol

      That was how aunty enter my room,come do double-take😂Meanwhile she is a staunch MF member. And my pals and I were like "what is it Aunty?" That was when she asked "what have u Bn don't since that U haven't done ur made up yet? What have u Bn doing all along" 😂

      Na so I come Open eye, dey look am and come dey wonder😂 My friends too were giggling cos they all know me. And have left me to me a long time ago. And I was like Aunty I have Made up o. I have put my kajal and lip gloss.
      I even forgot to mention to her that I already applied white powder sef.

      Na now this thing dey funny to me🤣🤣🤣🤣

      Aunty "U" just opened her mouth and in shock said "u didnt carve your eye brow and u say u have made up. Where is your eye shadow? (I had but it was mild) Where is this? Where is that? Hahahhahahaha😂
      Someone hand me a brand new blade. And I was starting to say "Oh no! Aunty don't "cut" my eye brows,I like them this way" When she cut me off and said "Not today! Not on ur special day!

      Yep! That's how I got my brows carved and a make over done. 😂
      Looking back now,I am Happy it was her that came in to get me😂

      My first set of make up when was During my last days in uni I think. I had gotten a Mary Kay set of make up from my mom as a birthday present but u know I didnt know how to use the many things inside. She herself isn't into make up like that. Just a dash of lippie and d small stuff. Her kind of fashionable is as per dresses,foot wears,rings and stuff. My kind of fashion too. So she didn't really get it or bother I wasn't into make-up. And I too didn't really send there was another world of making-up out there😂

      Ohhh! she loves rings! So I said I'd learn and improve😂

      So u can imagine me two weeks before wedding my dear, and I was like ah! U must shave o! Hahahahha
      Cos seriously I felt not shaving was one very big fashion disaster. So that beautiful Morning,I felt like a big geh and carried a new blade to the bathroom.I would later learn that a new blade in the hands of a learner esp one who hasn't carved before is a disaster😂
      Long story cut short, I shaved off all my eyebrow! All!
      It wasn't intentional though. In trying to get the "perfect arc" I kept trimming and trimming til everything vanished! I stared at myself and looked odd! Very odd! I nearly cried. I loved my brows! They were full and well carved on its own.

      So why did I let some people talk me into "trimming" it? And asides the fact that I am sentimental with my brows,I also have that phobia i'd shave off everything if I try to do it myself.

      The brows grew back a bit . And Thanks to that MUA(who to me is still the best I have seen,she was in School then) I had the perfect wedding make up.Somehow Light and beautiful. The way I love it! The way the General loves it too. Yea I forgot to mention he isn't a fan of make up.A dash of lipstick and u know the small stuff is ok.But if u must,make it light. Less is more he always says.

      And 10 years on, I haven't changed very very much. I stil like my make-up free face. But I have improved a great deal too.I now buy make-up.
      I am always buying make-up when I travel🙄Even though I don't know what most of them are used for😂
      And those "wicked" MAC girls wil be like oh! Yea! It will be good on u too"
      But u don't blame them cos they look so beautiful and I always go "You look soo pretty!😍I want everything u are have on ur face"
      LMAO🤣🤣🤣🤣
      So you won't blame them,market don land Na.
      That's how I ended up with contour something. How do u give someone contour something when she is a beginner in Make up and doesn't even know which one goes first yet: Foundation or powder?

      It's like giving a leaner a truck to drive instead of a small car first.
      But I am better now with make up.A lot better. So much better that I look in the mirror and go "Wow! Is this me? Hahahhaha 🤣Even though I admit laziness won't let me be great.😂

      I only wear make up to church,weddings,Parties and school functions(when I feel like not all the time) I am most comfy in my skin when I am without make up. Many say I don't bother cos I know I have a beautiful face. They may be right. But I don't think so,cos Even though,I am the first to admire a beautifully made up face, I have tried many times to work up sufficient interest in make up and it has failed woefully😂
