Actress Damilola Adegbite Says Rumour Of Her Marriage Break Up Made Her Laugh

A while back, news made rounds that delectable actress, Damilola Adegbite and her husband, Chris Attoh, were having turbulent times in their marriage.

While Attoh responded to the news the best way he could, his wife never really did the same.

But in a recent chat with Saturday Beats, the actress opened up on the current situation of their marriage.

“Part of the price that we pay for being famous is the rumour they peddle against us. Some people believe that they have an opinion about your personal life and anyone can just say anything that they like at any time. I don’t know where the rumour of my marriage crisis emanated from; neither do I know how it started but we don’t pay attention to things like that. We are used to such talks and we have been in this industry for years, so you can throw anything you want at me or talk about my career. I don’t know where that came from but my marriage is fine.

“People react to things differently but I laughed when I saw the news. From my post on Instagram, people could see that I was having a ball with the rumour. I probably had a bowl of popcorn in my hand as I was reading the comments and we laughed about it. You just need to understand that in this industry, the more you look, the less you see. Sometimes, the things you think you know are not true and vice versa.

People just need to realise that everybody has their personal lives and we would rather keep it that way,” she said.

*Beautiful response and I am sure their fans would be glad to know that all is well....Thank God they know the name of the game.....

  1. I'm happy for them but it's best to keep the fans guessing. The minute you stop posting and showing off like you always do, they'd assume all is not well.

  2. Most nigerians are lover of bad news and thats why bad news spreads faster than good news, they will love to see you down, it gives most of them especially the female ones orgasm but when you say u re enjoying the good things of life, authomatically you are telling lies..or living a fake life. They love bad news with their fake sympathy.

  5. Wait.. When did we start judging whose marriage is about to hit the rocks by the pictures they post? Even spousal love is judged by the pictures and epistles your better half posts.

Birthday/anniversary shout outs have become compulsory.. If you don't do it on your page and.,It means there is trouble in paradise,or happiness is lacking in your life. No one cares if you celebrated privately.

Needless to say that most people have to keep up appearances and are forced to keep posting stuff even when they are strangers at home.
    Hmmmmm... Social Media!!!

To survive though, You must do YOU.
If you are not the type to post your life on SM,hold your ground... Refuse to be bullied and taunted into surrendering.
If you love it? Why not? Just do what makes you happy bikonu.

Let me now advice you @Dammy... If you want to remain @MRS for life.. .Then you must live within your means..... Your husband has no money.. ..you thought he did, you ran, you married him... But now, your eyes Don see say "dating " is different from "Marriage "

      So live within your means

Stop @IG love.. .stop wanting to travel to @IBIZA like @Toke, when you know your husband can't afford it
