  7. I don't know why these things are amusing to us. If the president isn't sick doesn't this mean he is deliberately neglecting his duties? We aren't even bothered about the state of the nation, we are joining politicians who have embezzled enough money to last their generations to make jokes. We are not serious yet to move forward. Buhari, is sick and they can deny it all they want. I wish him well but he needs to stop holding the country to Ransome.

    1. Exactly.
He is sick. It is obvious.
Nigerians are hypocrites. We all know he is SICK.
If he is healthy, why would he relieve himself of his duties and office responsibilities.
He was voted in as the President of Nigeria by the people, of the people and for the people. Not by the people of Nigeria and for the People of America.

    2. Doppel it is only a country like Nigeria that would have an elected president in a democratic country leave for so long without a proper briefing and update given to citizens.

Instead of protesting and writing petitions we are joining people who have secured their future and that of their descendants to play politics. From Festus to Fayose, they are all politicians who don't give a shit about anyone. They are only interest in whipping up sentiments so that they would have support in their political endeavours.

I don't wish the president death. I want him hale and hearty but if he is so ill that he can't give a simple address to the country then we ought to know what the hell is wrong with him. Any honourable man in a civilised and well governed country would have resigned by now. But greed, tribalism, ambition and fear of chaos won't let them do the right thing. I'm just watching this country because any solid opportunity I have I'm leaving even if it's for the sake of my unborn kids. Let them grow up in a sane environment.

    3. Perhaps we are the ones holding ourselves to random and not wanting to move forward. It is only natural for the man to be sick and he has admittedly mentioned that several times. In fact he went ahead to write the Senate that he was going on a medical leave and made Osibanjo the acting president in line with constitutional requirement. Which means, Osibanjo takes over the affairs of the government during the president's absence. Why is that a problem? This minute we want pictures, next minute the dressing isn't good, tomorrow he should have stood straight in the picture, another is why isn't his wife there? You can never satisfy Nigerians. They are always toiled and played by inhuman politicians. What is our problem? It is just foolishness. Our focus should be how to work with the acting president to move the country forward. If the president returns and wants to continue from where he stopped, fine. He is under the constitution to do that. Nothing is wrong. Not banters and excuses we keep making every minute. Sure the politicians are enjoying the exchanges in our foolishness.

    4. Anon 16:25 read what you've written again and see the folly in your logic.

In a sane society where the citizens have a say we ought to have regular updates and briefings on the situation. It's tax payers money that is being used to treat him. All the trips being organised are done with money that is meant for Nigeria's development. The least that can be done is to give us a breakdown of how the money is being spent. Simple accountability and morality.

He is the number one citizen so we have a right to know in detail what the hell is wrong with him.

Also, it is an unwritten rule that if a president is very ill and can't discharge his duties he officially resigns. That's how honourable and conscientious people behave. Do you know that Winston Churchill was almost impeached because of his health?

I will make noise and demands. I will scream until my voice is heard. I refuse to be satisfied with the silly tactics of those in power. Nigerians are too docile and quite daft seeing the type of arguments they put forward in support of this misbehaviour. We also come up with dense arguments to explain the stupidity and silliness of our situation. It's quite disheartening to see that some people will defend this reckless disregard for and insult to us all.

Please note that I am not a pdp supporter neither am I for apc although I vocally supported Buhari in the 2015 election. But that won't stop me from saying that his illness is being handled with utmost disrespect and disregard to the Nigerian people.

A group is getting a petition on the way for his impeachment. That will serve as a deterrence to the ruling class who think we only matter during the election period. I think I am finally motivated to append my signature to it. Enough is enough.

  14. foolish Keyamo, claiming to be an activist and a protegee of Gani. I am sure Gani would have rejected him if he were alive and seeing what he has turned to. Well at least it worked for Him. Jonathan Administration Could not make him SAN. and he has gotten it from this Lawless and no regards for Rule of Law Government and nothing they will do that will be wrong in his sight. But Posterity will surely Judge him and his Likes.

  15. Not to be on ffks side but he might have said the truth .. Why are they releasing pictures just now after almost 2 months of him not been in the country? That means he was really sick, probably couldn't talk and in intensive care . He probably just got better now. Because a lot of people have supposedly gone to visit him before and there was no picture proof till now.. Who are they fooling?

Or are they saying the president has been feeling fine but decided to chill in the UK with tax payers money? 😳

  16. I'm sure they were elements of truth to Ffk and Fayose's claims at that time,we know we only get to hear 30percent of truth about EVERYTHING that happens in the country!!
