Man Abandons His 4 Children After His Wife Abandoned Them With Him..

A man has abandoned his 4 children at the Agege LGA Area , with a short note in their hand, asking the local government authority to carter for them because he can no longer fend for them, due to economic hardship.

In the note, he also noted that the mother of the children abandoned the children for him.

The local government chairman, Hon. Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi, has since taken the children to a nearby police station. He asked that proper care be given to them pending when investigation will be completed and their parents found.

********They should be taken to an Orphanage and not the Police station abeg! The parents will not be found so easily.let them announce that they will help them out financially and they will appear from the blues.

People who are not so financially buoyant should use condoms to avoid stories that touch like this

    1. I don't blame him, things are very hard for people right now, people's kids have dropped out pf school, some can barely feed, at least he dint kill them, my only fear is that this may become the trend now... Can't wait for 2019 Walahi

    2. All ye saying you cant wait for 2019, it's the same old bag of chips that will still be passed round. Only God can save.

    3. Very irresponsible parents. When you tell them to have the number of kids they can fend for, they won't listen. Anyway, it is better to abandon them than use them for rituals or sell them.

  2. What a pity. I like what the parent did than one selling their kids to unsuspecting ritualists. Though I people cant provide for their families will start towing this line of action.
These kids should be taken to an orphanage home. wetin dem dey look for in police station

  3. Children are a blessing, yes, but don't be foolish to bring them into the world to suffer like this.
Jeez, they grow up without education, care, advice, and if care is not taken, become hardened criminals, is that one a blessing?
    Haa!

  4. You're right Stella, donate money to these kids & watch the their parents appear. These children will grow up & become future leaders & the irresponsible parents will come & lay claim on them.😠

    1. I am billionaire. I have read your message. If you help this man he will marry two more wives and have many more kids. People in Nigeria shoul learn to have just 2 kids so that they can feed them.

  6. Economic hardship or not, I have noticed that people that hardly fend for themselves birth more and I really wonder why they do such. Bringing in innocent children to the world to suffer for nothing. Nawa!

    1. They procreate without restraint because sex is the only entertainment they can afford. It is often the case that when you're busy making money, sex becomes infrequent and less spontaneous.

Secondly, they are extremely illiterate and don't have a clue about the different forms of family planning some of which are relatively inexpensive at local health centres and general hospitals.

So they engage in regular sex without contraceptive use which can only result in more children that they are unable to care for!

    1. The mother nko? Is that one not also useless? Why abandon your kids for your husband? Which mother does that .. Thr man doesn't understand the pain of labour and childbearing but she does . It's easy for men to walk out seeing that they experienced no pain but a mother who can walk out on her 4kids like that, I can't even think of what to call her

    2. Call her oloriburuku

  9. Just look how cute the children are! There should be a system set aside for situations like this in Nigeria.

I wouldn't advice that they should be taken to the orphanage home, they should make a public announcement calling on the kids parents to come out of hiding, they should be offered a sustainable job; so that those kids can be taken care of.

I feel for them. That man must be a very lazy man without conscience, I know of a man back then whose wife also ran away leaving the children with him alone. He was doing the job of a bricklayer just so the kids could eat and go to school. The last time I heard about them, all the kids are now graduate and they are doing well for themselves.

Please, parents should learn to take risk on their children's behalf.

  10. Does it mean that they don't have relatives they can take some of the children to instead of abandoning them. Both of them are heartless.

    God Bless Everyone.

  11. hmmmmmm what a pity. The man is not a man at all. A man that cannot take care of his family is supposed to be castrated.

I pray they find helpers for these children.

situations in this country has made a lot of people to do the unthinkable.

  12. What a shame!! How can one abandon his/her children. Women give birth to the number of children only you can cater for, just in case, they will not hear. I really feel for the children.

  14. God, I'm tired of all these heartbreaking news...God bring back our Nigeria and make it a better one. Give us your spirit and bless us with your presence. Bless our leaders with good intentions and purge them of all wickedness and greed...
    Poor poor helpless kids.
When some women are crossing seven seas just to have one child.
I'm not sure all is well with the man, I'm not talking financial wellness. Something might be wrong with him maybe spiritually or mentally.

    Omg.
    Ife kali m abianalu m o.

They should put them up for adoption na. What are they trying to find the man for,do they want him to poison them?

Dear little ones, you are in the world already and survival is portion. You'll know no hunger, God who create you will send you help from Zion.

  15. I can't stand ppl that bring children to the world and can't cater for them.
Was just discussing this with someone
We were just saying in the office majority of ppl have 2 kids. We could only find like 2 people with 3kids
Nobody even had 4. This is including the VPs that get so well paid. Everyone wants the very best for their kids. They are having the number they can give the best to. Coupled with women even trying to build their careers. No time for batallion of kids.
But when you get to the drivers/security men it's every year they are doing baby dedication. Telling you their wives just delivered so you can give them money.
Nigerians especially the poor lack knowledge on family planning.

    1. Having many kids is now a thing of history. In those days, our grand parents and great grand parents had many kids for farming purposes. There was not much emphasis on education and at least they could afford to feed their children due to the nature of their profession- farming.
But in this economy, infact , I think 3 should be the highest any family should have , worst case 4. Wetin? You wan sell them?

  16. Very sad. Poverty is terrible!

  17. what nonsensical Nonsense. When they (d man plus him wife) were "borning" them them know know abi? That's my problem with Nigeria. People get married for the wrong reasons. U are above 30 u never marry, them go start talk. U marry one year u never born, then go start talk. U born the first one, two years later, them go start ask for the third and fourth. Now societal pressure and lack of planning has made this mumu mugu produce innocent pikins he can't cater for.
That's why I don't take people's pressure about marriage serious. U see a man barely managing and complaining about harsh economy nagging u to get married so ur case can be like theirs. Tufiakwa! If means to cater for a family never show, no use faith marry abeg. Marriage no be passport to heaven.

  18. I don't know why some people cannot borrow themselves brain. You know you don't have money to cater for children you begin to reproduce like rabbit.

Oh Lord, remember those that are waiting on you for the fruit of womb.
