Following the growing concerns about the whereabouts of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) yesterday said the IPOB leader was not under its custody and could not be responsible for his disappearance.
The DHQ said on Friday that it has no knowledge of the whereabouts of the IPOB leader.
Defence spokesman, John Enenche, who addressed journalists in Abuja stated that DHQ cannot be held responsible for the missing IPOB leader.
He also denied that military invaded the country home of Kanu’s in Abia State. He said: “I watched the operations live. I also got first hand information from our men on ground. For the records, Nnamdi Kanu was never taken away by the military.
Nnamdi Kanu is due to appear in court this October for the continuation of his trail.

A failed country, why wont they want Biafra when we have people like that spokesperson in that position? Even if they like, let them kill Mazi Kanu, so many will arise and continue from where he stops. Kanu exposed the attrocities in Nigeria and they thought by caging him will make people forget abt Biafra? The centurion mistake. Latest Nnpc and DPR job offers, no single Igbo or Ss person in it and they want us to remain as one. Every employment now is being given to the Northerners.
