Imo State Gov Rochas Okorocha Destroys Rental Property Worth N60 million

The Property destroyed In Mgbidi,Imo State is the property of Blog Visitor Ingrid's Grandma..... #Citizenreport

''Hello Stella,
I have been avid reader of your blog and I have even posted my birthday post a few years ago on your amazing blog. It has been brought to my attention that Governor Rochas has destroyed my grandmother 3-story building , along with the 18 first level storefronts.

My grandmother built this building in 1976 as widow. The governor's contractors gave my grandmother a verbal notice that she has to remodel her building to new market standard. When plans of renovations was being put in place by my mother and her siblings, without notice the contractors bulldozed the building. My mother and her siblings are based in America.

There was no time to get back to Nigeria in such a short notice. This building is worth 60 million Naira. There are no talks of compensation. Is 60 million Naira a joke to some people? This is illegal and the governor has no remorse. They talk about Igbo people coming back home from the diaspora and building in their community but, yet they are destroying people's property. I have published this story on my Instagram: i.a. okonta''

  1. Na wa oh. Rochas again????

Pls when they call him one legged man, no one has the right to insult anyone who uses his condition to insult him. Cos he's more of an animal than a one legged man.

    PS: I know he's someone's father, but I don't care

  3. Na wa. This Okorocha is just a bad news. Anyway you guys threw Oyakim under the bus and brought Okocha as a philanthropist and now you guys are complaining. Sorry about what this man is doing to your family.

Let me copy anon's statement on okorocha
"it actually not his daughter that made the cakes his wife runs a rescue mission skill acquisition center so she must have ordered that the cakes be made for her husband it will all be termed training and skill development he knows I know it she knows it. its about the press. he is an unwanted elephant grass that needs uprooting and thrown into the sea along with the sand".

  5. Ingrid, I know you love your grand mother, but I think the gov. Is not to be blamed here
A NOTICE was given to her and I think she exceeded the time that's why the building was taken down.

Old dilapidated buildings are everywhere and it poses danger to people
I'm sure if she had renovated it in time, this wouldn't have happened.

    1. I shouted it. Screamed and cried round Imo State in 2015. I even had to leave my Base in Enugu Then to witness the reelection in my hometown. He brainwashed all of em with free education and lies. Now the education sef is not free and my mum hasn't been paid a dime since retirement on 2015. Many of her former colleagues are dying off. It's so sad. I'm sorry poster. Rochas has wounded all Imolites one way or the other!🙍🙍🙍

  10. Igbo people have never had it so bad with incompetent leaders. I pray God to reverse this curse. Our "elected" officials are a disgrace to Igboland and humanity. Rochas will surely die a slow and painful death.

  15. IF IT IS TRUE..Na wa Oh..And to even think some persons are clamoring for devolution of powers to the states..Gov Rochas is getting out of hand and the APC are not even cautioning him..This man's cup is getting full and should be very careful..IPOB agitation should be centred only these visionless Governors of the South East rather than only holding the Federal Government accountable..
