Campaign for Democracy has condemned the recent demand by of fresh bailout funds by the Nigerian Governors Forum from the Federal Government, adding that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to investigate the utilization of the previous bailout funds released in times past.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari has twice rescued states from bankruptcy, releasing bailout fund to facilitate salary payments amongst other imperative needs but some states are still recorded to be owing salaries.
While CD also endorsed the ongoing anti-corruption campaign of the federal government, it also demanded an immediate release of the Vice President Osinbajo led panel of investigation, on the former SGF Babachir Lawal, and NIA DG, Ayo Oke.
Honestly, in totality. It's like a 30yrs old man that is still collecting feeding money from his parents.
