Drama In Eko Hotel At Senate President Bukola Saraki's Daughter Tosin's Engagement Party.

THE Wedding Engagement of Senate President Bukola Saraki's daughter Oluwatosin to Olatunde Olusanya took place yesterday October 28 October 2017 in Lagos ....

What many do not now after viewing the lovely photos is that there was in house drama at the Eko hotel which was the reason the engagement lasted only a few hours as it was hurriedly rounded off

According to insiders ''Eko hotel shut down on Saturday Morning around 3am when the flow of Electricity stopped abruptly and it was made worse because all the Dignitaries and Very very important person's who attended the engagement were lodged in the hotel with VERY TIGHT SECURITY.

The situation remained the same until a few hours before the wedding when the hotel got a make shift generator to run the engagement at the Ballroom of the Eko hotel whilst the rest of the hotel remained without light.

The result is the father of the bride Senate President Bukola Saraki was very unhappy and wedding was quickly rushed because some kind of 'sabotage' was suspected...By 4pm the sweating guests had started departing venue disappointed with the turn out of events but some stayed on until 4am partying.

The Couple are now officially engaged and will round off their three part wedding activities with the wedding Fatiah in Abuja on December 8th.

Oh this development is powder outage? Wonderful.

There was a time their heaters couldnt even produce hot water. Hotel attendants were taking hot water to guests in their rooms with buckets.

    1. Have you slept there before or 'you heard'. They must have about a thousand staff to go from room to room supplying hot water on buckets. Madam hearsay

    2. I prefer all them Protea and Radisson, Sheraton (four points) and even intercontinental in terms of service. Their food isn't even all that. Only the interiors in signature wing even makes sense right now. I don't know What that shaguri is doing.

    6. Southern sun is good for their buffet but the decor and the finishing is horrendous. Even their restroom by the lobby is a disappointment

    2. They should have wiped all of them from the face of the earth. SHAME ON THEM. The sad part is that their kids were gallivanting all over the world with corrupt money. Their offsprings and wives should be locked up too. Very sad

  12. Very good! They experienced power outage for just a few hours and are already looking at different theories around it???
Ndi Uchu! Devilish leaders with no sense of humanity in them at all.. bloody thieves! This is what over 150m Nigerians suffer daily in a country of such abundance.
A few evil, heartless and ugly spirited folks who call themselves "politicians" have run this beautiful country dry, but Jehovah himself will begin to fight you all.
I am in Dubai now, and i just marvel at how a once desert area turned out so beautiful, touristy and functional... commitment, honesty, transparency, love and passion of their leaders towards their nation and their people.
So angry now biko... Power outage indeed!

  16. Yeah, I only just commented 'long story' on the first Engagement post ..seriously though, they said their Transformer (a supposed dedicated transformer used by Eko hotel alone) wet bad and spoiled all their generators. They had to find where to hire generator to power the hall doe the ceremony

    Sigh

    See sweating though

Bride just managed to keep that smile on her face in the pictures

  17. Serves them right. Maybe because of the embarrassment, they will actually start looking for solutions for power.

  18. So you guys honestly believe Nigeria’s problems can be solved by this government. It would take years for things to get right. No one has the magic to turn things around in a couple of years. That’s the truth. So we can hate all we want. Blame all our past leaders too. They put us here in the first place.

  20. EKO hotel...very funny hotel. My office once had an after party in one of those halls. And right at the middle of the hall, water started dripping from the decking. They had to put bucket to collect the water. Very embarrassing. So i believe that person up there who said they didn't have hot water. Forget all that razzmatazz, their services can be very drab.

  21. A hotel as big as Eko Hotel should have a very strong back up system. Not paying attention to details is the cause of this embarrassment. You cannot be having that kind of function, and depend on PHCN. They will fail you. And that is where the back - up comes handy. Eko hotels management should be ashamed.

  22. Which few hours did the engagement last? I was there, the engagement started 12:30 and the party went on till past midnight, then after party till Sunday morning. The power cut was before the engagement started. Only the Saraki's can pull off restoring power to Eko Hotel after electricity and generators failed. That is power. Gorgeous classy traditional wedding.
