Sen. Oluremi Tinubu Says Women Turns To Drugs Because Their Husbands Fail To Make Them Happy

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, representing Lagos central, says women are turning to drugs because their husbands are not making them happy.

Mrs Tinubu said this on the floor of the senate while contributing to a debate on a motion to check the rising menace of drug abuse among youth, especially in northern Nigeria.

Nigerian men need to do a lot in taking care of their wives and showing care. Who is supposed to take care of the family? If she is not happy, if she is not being emotionally cared for, she would resort to whatever is available and I think Nigerian men a lot to do in that respect.

The increasing abuse of cough and prescriptive drugs, among the youth and women across the 19 northern states in the country, has resulted’ in meaningless deaths, rendered them largely unproductive and has devastated many upper and middle class families’ in northern Nigeria.

The senator further urged the federal government to partner with relevant stakeholders to create a holistic measure in fighting drug abuse in the country particularly in the north.

From The Cable

`*Hmmm, that reminds me to ask....Is crack also hard drugs?I hear people who wanna slim down in Nigerian entertainment industry, especially the female now take crack and that its not a big deal. When i screamed the person now said ''Stella crack is no big deal, its not drugs!''

  5. This is true.

When a woman is happy, everyone and everything around her goes juts fine. But an angry woman???
    Oh Lord!😱
You just have to pity the people around her. The man too. So I mean, why give her unhappiness when u can give her happiness?

But the women too need to know that their happiness does not solely lie on a man. It's totally cool to be loved by him and u know for him to remain in love with u but I mean,if it doesn't turn out that way, getting angry and Turning to drugs doesn't do anyone any good either. Asides the health hazards,You can't turn to what u are not cos you aren't getting love and attention from him. Or from anyone for that matter.

    Find u,do u,ball u,love u and things will most likely change👌

Madam is likely speaking from experience. Women resort to all sorts when sad/ignored by their men. Drugs sound the silliest but isn't alcohol drug? Don't men turn to it when sad/ignored??

My point when people are emotionally disturbed they often seek out foolish solutions because lets face it, drugs are not a solution. I understand what you mean by all the "you" you typed TGW, & I love you, but it reeks of selfishness. We can't lobe ourselves by ourselves! We need each other! We just need to choose friends and spouses much more carefully and nit yield to societal or family pressure. Anyway! Beautiful Wednesday here!

  11. You can't make yourself happy without drugs?
Were you taking drugs in your father house before getting married?
Try a dildo or a pacifier like the kids.
The world is not all about your emotions.

  13. crack is a cocaine.Crack cocaine, also known simply as crack, is a free base form of cocaine that can be smoked. Crack cocaine is commonly used as a recreational drug.Effects of crack cocaine include euphoria, supreme confidence, loss of appetite, insomnia, alertness, increased energy, a craving for more cocaine, and potential paranoia (ending after use) Its initial effect is to release a large amount of dopamine, a brain chemical inducing feelings of euphoria.[citation needed] The high usually lasts from 5–10 minutes, after which time dopamine levels in the brain plummet, leaving the user feeling depressed and low. When (powder) cocaine is dissolved and injected, the absorption into the bloodstream is at least as rapid as the absorption of the drug which occurs when crack cocaine is smoked, and similar euphoria may be experienced.
Smoking crack further presents a series of health risks. Crack is often mixed with other substances that create toxic fumes when burned. As crack smoke does not remain potent for long, crack pipes are generally very short. This often causes cracked and blistered lips, known as “crack lip,” from users having a very hot pipe pressed against their lips.

  16. Remi Tinubu should know what she is talking about, as a former drug dealing wife of a Chicago Druglord. She and her husband, and their kids, are all on drugs.
