Governor Okorocha Gifts Best Graduating Student N500,000 For Lunch.

Awe Fredrick Oluwatimilehin from Physics Electronics Department Of Adekunle Ajasin University AAUA, Akungba Akoko got CGPA 4.83 emerging as the best graduating student for the 2015/2016 academic session of the University. 




In an emotion laden address to thank the audience on behalf of other graduands, Awe Fredrick narrated how he was kidnapped by ritualists for three days; how his father abandoned him and other siblings for over twenty years but inspite of all that he was determined to make it. He eventually made it !

According to nationalhelm Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, who was equally honoured with a Honorary Degree of Doctor Of Letters was impressed by the story of Mr Awe. He rose and said I would have like to take you out for lunch but for my time, however please kindly accept N500,000 for your lunch.

” Stand with me. I love to identify with greatness. Blessed is the womb of your mother “, he said.

Immediately, the Governor brought out N500,000 cash and handed it over to Awe Fredrick ,the audience rose in jubilation,some smiling, shouting and other shielding tears of joy.

    Now I believe this man will die a beggar's death. There are close to 5 higher institutions in Imo state. How many times has he gone to encourage students like this? How many times has he gone to boost their morale this way? Just to show off and shamelessly he doesn't disappoint. I curse COCKrochas this day. He and all he cares for shall be cut short.

    Dokpesi I knew he wouldn't win, he was just making noise, owing a media house and doesn't mean u would get anything.

    They should all be good sportsmen and support the winner.

    Secondus would do a good job, he has been there before amidst on an acting capacity.

    But excuse me, this is all he can do for 4.83Cpga. He can sponsor him abroad for a scholarship and people are shouting for #500k gift, celebrating mediocrity indeed. 500k that will finish in one week. Invest in him... This is how e raise nation builders and not giving him #500k. Yinmu.
