First Class Graduate Breaks Into Tears As Gov. Rochas Gifts Him N13.7million For Further Studies

What a generous heart owned by Rochas!!!

Dr Chigozie Ekenze, the best graduating student at the 2016 combined convocation ceremony of Imo State University IMSU has been given Thirteen Million Seven Hundred Thousand Naira (13,700,000) by governor Rochas Okorocha to enable him proceed for his Post Graduate Program in London immediately.

Dr Chigozie who lost his Father shortly after gaining admission to study Optometry in Imo State University was threatened to withdraw for lack of funding as his mother’s vegetable trade could not sponsor his education.

After becoming governor in 2011, Rochas Okorocha declared free and compulsory education from primary to university and that would rekindle the spark of greatness in the young Doctor to soar to greatness.

Yesterday, while receiving a cheque from Mrs Ugo Nneoma Rochas Okorocha, containing the huge sum, the doctor went on his kneels with utter gratitude to God. He continued to cry uncontrollably for several minutes with overwhelming joy from family and friends. Governor Okorocha had earlier granted Dr Chigozie automatic employment as Lecturer in IMSU.

  12. Brother if you can find your way, just remain in that UK better still sojourn to Canada for further studies and seek employment to practice there. With your type of expertise you could get a job in Canada and work permit and papers are easier there.
Don't come back and collect chicken change as lecturer. Plus optometrist don't earn that much here.
A word is enough for the wise.
