AWKWARD FEELING

Stella greetings, I don't even know if this is post able as chronicles or not .I just need to talk to someone but I cant get anyone to trust around me. So I am just going pour out my soul may be I am going to be relieved .

I married 2011 to a good man,he loves me and proves it the best way he can.We are also blessed with three wonderful kids.in fact, I am so blessed and I am grateful to God.

Stella,in spite of all my blessings I have a challenge that has almost reduced me to a beggar, hubby lost his job after marriage and ever since then it has been struggling .I don't want bore anyone with details of what I have been going through as that is not the reason for this mail.

The reason for this mail is that,I spoke to a man (married ) recently who promised to help me out with some capital for my business but on the condition that I sleep with him. Hmmm, I accepted o,in fact, I told him to give me till Saturday. My dear, all my mind was to get the money, stop my hawking and start up a good business and help my hubby and kids.

My problem now is that I have lost my peace since the day I spoke to the man. I can't sleep at night anymore,it is as if something terrible will happen to after sleeping with him. My question is this, please is it normal ?

YES! GOD FORGIVE ME, THIS IS EVIL IN GOD'S SIGHT. I do not encourage adultery or fornication But, I just need the help. I am just restless and I don't know if I miss this opportunity ,I just need someone to tell me that my feeling is normal that there is nothing wro
ng somewhere.

I cant believe you are asking us this question..if you want to ask for help do so and stop making it look as serious as this when you have not done anything -YET!

All these theatrics for what?Madam abeg cool down, nothing has happened ....
May God bless you and send help your way so you dont need to gbensh for it!

PAULS POTPOURRI

HIV TEST

*Those who go for HIV test every month, continue. One day, you shall find what you are looking for* LOL!

I have this uncanny habit of going for a HIV test, at least, every three months, and I don't pray to find what I am looking for, lol! No be say I be saint o, but I hear say no be only through gbenshing wey person fit contact the nyamayama infection na. Ngbo, my peoples?

But what's there in walking into a hospital for a routine check up or even a HIV test? It's better to know your status than to de share de thing like gift o. After all, the last time I checked, HIV test is free in government-owned hospitals and some NGO establishments. I sometimes even go away with gifts sef, and more information on how to play safe. I even have a certificate sef *winkz*

Moreover, if there's anything I like, it's to hear professionals, especially beautiful ladies, talk about the human anatomy and how HIV will reduce you to nothingness if you let yourself get carried away by the pleasure of gbenshing and forget to protect yourself.

Sometime ago, I ran into a very beautiful girl in one of these heart to heart centres that have made it a point of duty to mankind to create awareness on the scourge of HIV and provide free medical treatments.

When I say beautiful girl, I mean double exhaust, sharp headlights and face like (wetin be the name of that beautiful actress again?): that kind thing. I take style mind my business sha, at least until we verified our different status. Make person no go begin catch feelings where HIV is involved.

Moreover, I notice say babe de shake. I was curious. Was it her first time or was she already infected? But infection no be end of the road na, kilode babe?

Babe still de shiver like say she get fever until my turn come reach. I enter sharp sharp go do my thing, no time. Me wey be say the nurses de even put evil ideas in my head by giving me packets of domcon as souvenir, wetin I wan carry am do? I came out to wait for the result and babe still de shake as she go do her own.

Maybe the counseling she received from the nurses helped to calm her nerves, she looked better as she came to join me in waiting for our test results.

We got talking and I discovered it was actually her first time of coming for a HIV test. I deduced she had lived a reckless life to warrant her being afraid of the possible outcome of the test.

Fortunately for her, she was negative. The happiness in her face was painful to see, but she was probably glad for a new lease of life to share her confidence with me.

Oga and madam, nobody say make you no de play away match o, since you be Ronaldo and Messi. Just make sure you de knack your condom correctly and consistently. Last time I checked, it is still very cheap, compared to living a life of uncertainty.

Go in peace, mass is ended.

RE- TUESDAY IN HOUSE NEWS

Good day all....
I read something on yesterday IHN about parents cursing their children which was enlightening as no matter what example you give people still underestimate their tongue effectiveness.

Let me share something that happened to a close relative that might pass across a message perhaps also to yesterday chronicles teller.
Mr P married Aunty G even though his family objected because she was ugly, big mouth and teeth. Mr P insisted as he was not getting younger.

U see aunty G was the second to get married in her family, her elder sis loses her child either on naming day or 3days after. The longest lived for 3months.
So we were happy when she had a girl even the delivery was hard and spiritual battle .

8months later she was pregnant again and she wasn't happy, she kept telling everybody in the area her husband was the fault she wasn't ready bla bla bla. According to her one was enough for now
We encouraged her and told her to embrace it as a blessing. She was always complaining.

At 3months she lost the pregnancy

The first child is always sick even with a AA genotype Till date she regrets using her mouth to cause her miscarriage.

See I tell myself daily I refuse to be frustrated and so far its been working. There is more to the tongue than it being a part of the body.
Have a positive confession week

Na wah oh!!!..........This is why i always preach positive vibes, good vibes...This some scary ish nna eeeeh

    1. I can't wait for this shift to be over. I love being a nurse but nowadays I feel so tired but when I see the beautiful smiles of the little children I take care of it warms my heart. I thank God for life, health and a job that I love and that pays well. There was a time I didn't have anything. I was living in a shelter and received 290 euros from the government. I decided that I wanted better and didn't want my sickness to stop me (I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolarism). I prayed to God for complete healing and I was healed. I went to school, got my diploma and then enrolled in nursing school, finally I graduated. Two months later I received a job offer as a pediatric nurse and I've been working there since. I'm about to write a book about my life and I'm grateful to God. I could have been another mad woman roaming around the streets but now I'm healed and healthy. I love being a nurse and working with kids. I'm so grateful for everything God has done for me and I hope that my story inspires someone out there. With God nothing is impossible. He will breath life into the dead bones, he will exalt you among your peers, he will bless you more than you can think of. Yeah I had my bad days, days I doubted God, when I thought my life was over but God showed me that he is the God of the brokenhearted, the God of miracles. He turned my mess into my testimony. In three months I'm getting married to the love of my life. Things couldn't have been better. God is good. By the way I'm 33 years old. So you see its never too late, just trust in God and work hard, he will make a way where there seems to be no way.

  14. To anon 8:10 am from SP this morning calm down ok? I was just smiling when I read your rant.
My dear if I tell you my experience here you wii laaaaaaaaaugh.
First week of January on this blog, I saw a job offer for PR Manager at a club/cafe/hospitality something something at Sango Otta. (Please don't ask me what I was looking for in that direction o, sebi all na work?) Funny enough, the lady who advertised the position then, also commented under your 'rant' this morning with 'Hmmmm.' I laugh in yimu.
Anyway I sent my C.V etc etc.
Me with over 9 years solid experience across all verticals, guess how much the 'company' offered?
    70k!!!!
I mean the person saw my C.V, loaded with foreign and local experience and foreign and local certifications and had the temerity to make that kind of scandalous offer after almost 2 hours of plenty talk!!!
There is nobody I've told this story to that has not fainted with laughter. I'm glad I'm able to make some people laugh because every time I remember, I just feel like crying with shame. This country and its people are truly on the brink.
Generally, Nigerian employers are looking for people with plenty of experience that they can pay goat feed. The hope is that you'll be desperate enough to accept whatever they'll throw at you.
They want people they can utilise every drop of blood from and pay as little as possible while doing so. That's if your salary will even be received by you as at when due.
But then it becomes a terrible cycle. Mr/Madam Employer pays people absolute crap and wonders why his/her business is not moving or why things are always missing or has to hire every month or few weeks because people are always leaving.
My years of experience, local and international, were with blood, sweat and tears.
    Literally.
I didn't come this far to allow anyone use my expertise to build their dreams and in exchange, give me dust to build mine.
My first salary 9 years ago was not even 70k. After seeing my C.V, the quality of work done, the accomplishments over the years, within and outside the country what a terribly demeaning insult to offer to a prospect and to the company itself!
So anon 8:10am calm down ya hear? *offers a hug :) :-)
Most of the offers here are low end, if you can bear with that, then do so and keep scouting for better opportunities.
Word of mouth and direct calls/enquiries to companies you'd like to work for also help.
I'm hoping something works out for you sooner than later.
    Cheers!

Keep at it hun. Don't relax.

Hold on to what you have and keep looking out for better opportunities.

You have to position yourself. The jobs won't always fall into your lap especially when you're very specific about what you want and you have so much expertise. 4Ps position/prepare/plan(and pray if you're the spiritual type)

Sometimes I've had to decline invites because really how many times in a week can someone be absent from their desk for 2-3 hours at a stretch? How many excuses can one give? LOL.

My greatest fear is going for an interview and seeing my boss as an external member of the panel. Even my bitch resting face won't be of help to me.

Plan with your hubby and Set him up. Explain to your hubby what he said. Then plan. Let your hubby go and hide in the hotel. When you enter the hotel room and lay in bed, let your hubby set his phone camera and jump out, snapping both of you. Let him threaten to report him to everyone that he care about, let him threaten you too and ask you to go and pack your load from the house. You will now roll on the floor and beg him and promise him that you both will do anything he wants so he should not put you to shame. He will now demand for money from the man, you too will ask him to transfer money to you too. So he will give you and your hubby money.

  29. To the wife on the brink, please do not pursue that arrangement. I feel like a hypocrite advising you because I have never lived through what you have. I do not know what it is like to see your children starving and I know as a mother you would do anything for your children's survival. So all I will say is poverty is truly an evil experience and nobody should have to experience it.

Your husband cannot be happy about not being able to provide for his family. He is already in the ground as a man, imagine when he finds out you sold yourself and he ate of the same. Things like this have a way of coming out. The man is not good, because if he was a true friend he would help you with no such condition. He could be packed full of diseases, he could use your soul for his own profit, he could turn you into a zombie. You by your own words have stated the goodness of your husband so your conscience will eat away at you for the rest of your days if you proceed with it. Please follow your guts in this situation and do not follow through with this arrangement. Use Saturday for prayer and fasting, same day you were to do a grave sin, use it to glorify God for the blessing you have not seen yet. Please also do not agree to anyone requesting that you use your body for getting anything. The poor is preyed upon in this world every day and it is sad.

I do not know where you will get the money from to help your family. Maybe through this blog, maybe you will find it, maybe you will land a good job. God is all powerful and you do not need to make any satanic covenant to get ahead. Praise God today for the breakthrough that you do not see. Give thanks and praise for the blessings that are still unseen and they will move faster into this reality. Make it a matter of your life to start singing praises for the unseen. Thank God for the food in your cupboards even when it is empty, thank God for the money in your pocket, the savings in your bank, thank God for your thriving business, thank God for all that you desire that you cannot yet see, the more you do this with a grateful and believing heart is the quicker it will manifest. Don't mind who will mock you, just continue.

Stella, maybe you could start a small "NGO" for lack of a better word. We in the abroad and even those in Nigeria who are financially fit could contribute a small sum monthly and that money is then given to a few ppl who need some upliftment that same month. Since there is power in collective work this would ensure a steady flow. We would need a few honest souls on the ground to confirm the veracity of the claims or you could use your crystal ball, or we leave liars to their own karma. But perhaps if we have something like this it would reach more bv's. Not sure if this is even feasible, just a thought. I prefer using PayPal though because I travel so much it's the easiest way I could contribute.

    1. Abeg sir/ma, the begging on this platform is nauseating as it is. Lets leave the NGO bit and stick to out giveaway pattern. Even some who are gainfully employed would rather beg than use their head to calculate 1+1 and help their lives. Isnt it here you see some peoole come and announce one 'good thing' and the very next day they're begging?
Please, I understand your intention. But Nigerians take things overboard. It was here I gave someone access to my email to assist with possible jobs. The next thing was she sent me her account number one day with a long line of prayers to blind me from the error. And since i told her that was inappropriate, s/o stopped 😂😂 If that isnt taking someone's decision to help for granted I wonder what is.
If you try am, some will call their whole families to ask with well-fashioned stories one-by-one. You will end up supporting a whole community. If you need to assist someone directly, call their names and do what you can. Leave the rest to God. You didn't create the world you can't solve all the problems in it.

    2. There will always be those who exploit good intentions, but they will have to reap their own harvest in such. Because whatever you sow so must you reap.

It was just a suggestion. It wouldn't kill me since I already sponsor a World Vision child in another country. Surely nobody can be forced into donating anything, because all must be free to do give as they choose, and many already give to their churches so there is nothing left over.

No human or group can solve the problems of the world, only a fool would think such. But you are probably right, better to sponsor another child in another country instead of investing in Nigerians, after all, the picture you have painted makes it seems not worth it anyhow.

    1. I have always said the thing humans need the most is loving contact. Hopefully the entire Nigeria will be filled with loving hugs today.
