I’m sure the fibroid was not up to 12!!...
Meanwhile, fibroid surgery is just like doing an appendix surgery!...
    No big deal!..
With 80 to 100k,it’s done in a general hospital!..
See how she painted everything like it’s that huge..

    1. Hmmmm. But queen every surgery is a big deal o. Na God dey save person. You are right about the cost though, that's what iv been waiting for until the strike

    2. Haba Queen n boss! There is absolutely no comparison between the two proceedures. Not the process, not the delicacy, not the pain, nothing!

I thought you wanted to compare it with cesarean section. You would have been close to the truth but fibroid surgery is still more delicate and complex than cesarean section not to talk of appendix.

      Say what you know.

    3. There is nothing like major or minor surgery ma,she went under the knife and anyone who has ever been cut know how painful it is!!!
A lot of women never made it through the procedure or pain that comes with fibroid!!

    4. 100k ke, my sister in law did hers for 700k last two years and it is a big deal because alot of people die on the table, we saw how halima almost died after her post-operation.

    5. My dear.... people do this thing everyday. Im wondering what the pity party is all about.... a simple 'thank God for......' and 'for everyone in pain, please go for check up .....' would suffice. This is actually much for me mehn. Seems like every opportunity is used to gather attention. Not cool 👎

    10. Queen don't even say that! My neighbour had an appendix operation in federal medical center everything seemed fine even gisted with his wife that night only for him to die the next day. No operation is small, cause what you term small some people go and don't make it alive

    11. Chikito, would you like some nice round fatty fibroids? It's no big deal nah, you can just stroll in and out to have them remo ed then just say thank God o and be done with it. You that is the champion of story telling, mostly irrelevant mentally myopic things sef, you come and join a fellow mad person in Linda Eze to belittle fibroid operation that has claimed numerous lives! Shallow.

      Delete
    12. Chikito and quinne I know someone that passed away after this same removal of fibroid in ikoyi not a quack hospital. She was a top shot in sapetrol. Just 40yrs of age. Her sister did in same clinic and didn't die o. They said she overbled and went into shock.
She was ttc after a 10yr old son and it was affecting her health. Heavy painful periods.
So no surgery is small. Even tooth extraction can go wrong. Stella oduah son is it not complication from teeth issue that killed him
Just thank God for good health.

    13. Haba! Why the insensitivity na? Wish her well and move on. I'm sure nobody prays fir

    15. @chikito your comment is quite insensitive. To be put under Anesthetics and to be cut through is a lot. Just give thanks to God for her life. Cos if you be gone under the knife, you wouldn't be so trivial about life! No operation is easy. The after recovery pain is a testimony on its own.

If Adesua talked about having fibriod surgery everybody will be oohing and eyaahing.

    18. My darlings, I'm probably currently dealing with fibroids and not trying to gather pity with it from even my immediate family. Her first post, I empathised and wished her well. Okay but I mean.... when you make it out hale and hearty e don do.
Or maybe I feel this way cos it's coming from Toke who like to use almost everything to make news (and maybe money). I'm toke's fan but at times I just feel simple things are blown up to be monetized. If I get my surgery done, I will tell everyone I'm fine and encourage people to go if they have (like the first post she did) and that's that. No need to ring this bell. She's been slaying and posting, she's alright.

      Delete
    19. Chikito expected more from you. For your information fibroid surgery is a major surgery, with all the risks associated with a major surgery. I had fibroid surgery 2 years ago, had a baby via CS A year after, if I wite my journey it will be 10 pages long. Even the US doctors encountered a lot of adhesions doing the CS as complication from the myomectomy. Don't downplay what she went through, its her story let her tell it.

    20. how people can be so dense, so stupid, so insensitive as to actually tell people how they should bear pain and how to express it.
Because you are all of a sudden God Almighty, who creat that human body and knows what they are going through internally and to what 'reasonable' extent they should be 'allowed' to express their pain.

      Not 1 not 2 not 6. 12 FIBROIDS.12.

Just monthly menstruation, I know what some women who choose to put a brave face on every month, go through. Same people on here with mouths like broken sewer pipes will call it "ordinary menstruation that people go through, why is she even behaving like that yada yagi yagu."

I'm glad that God has a quirky sense of humour. Sometimes, God gives such people personal experiences to humble nauseating myopic minds and wipe away their 'I know it all' attitudes.

You never disappoint me Stella, some people that didn’t let the four walls of a school pass through them have given free publicity to the clinic, good you removed the name and mind you, the clinic doesn’t come cheap. N1.5m for a simple procedure. That was my bill last year. Anyways, I’m glad Toke is fine now, women do go through a lot. May her healing be permanent in Jesus name. Amen!

I swear so annoying. Sometimes recieve wisdom and SHUT UP when people talk about their experiences. Always rushing to have an opinion, when your brain should take a couple more days to just fully boot.
It's THEIR fucking experience. During your own operation, stand on the doctor's head and do shaku shaku to show how 'strong' you are.
Let others moan, roll on the floor, do 'pity party' with balloons and Disney characters if they want. It's THEIR experience.
How hard is it for so called smart people to understand???? Gosh!

  15. There's no minor surgery. Even appendix pains is on another level especially when you're wheeled out from the theater. By the time the intestines starts resetting back is very painful. Sometimes people vomits as a result of that.

There is absolutely nothing like "ruptured fibroids", cysts rupture fibroids don't, still sorry for your loss, never easy to loose a mum.

    The treatment for fibroids is
    1. Myomectomy which is surgery.
    2. You wait it out, done for patients who are close to menopause.

The earlier you get rid of fibroids the easier, don't wait till it looks like 6months pregnancy!
